Thank you for providing a rational perspective that isn’t based on theories from sources who have no names and are anonymous. Between you and Adam Mason are the bulk of my Bears news. I have been holding my tongue because my thoughts are that your assessments are pretty spot on, why? Because you wait to hear it from Warren and Poles and not trying to interpret and manipulate their words to meet your speculative theories. swifty, I've been on your channel and Adam's for two months about Gave davis. what people don't realize is he is faster than his combine speed because he did that while he was hurt. Imagine him in the slot at 216 lbs between Moore and dare I say Harrison? And he would not cost as much as other Fa receivers.

Trey Benson 6"1 223 ran a 4.3 forty would be a great check down out of the back field receiver/running back for Justin. He could be the next Derick Henry!!! I noticed Detroit drafted that speedy back from Alabama last year. Him & Montgomery changed that offense last year & you wouldn't have to pay a rookie as much as a veteran running back.

Interesting free agent signings and many of those QB spots filled that had JF1 going to. Atlanta seems to still be open. Seattle's restructured Geno Smith contract so that's done. Trubisky is out there and who else? Nice update Swifty GO BEARS AND BEAR DOWN 🐻 ❤❤❤

Good to point out that what Poles does in FA may give us an even better idea of what his draft plans may be. Good call on signing a slot guy. He's gonna be the #3 guy. Draft the #2. Fant would be a nice addition as would bringing back Marcedes Lewis as a blocker for the run game. Chase Young is another Chase Claypool type. He's a shot at resurrecting his career if he'd accept a short term deal for low money. Kinlaw fits the kind of guy Poles might target. It sets up a nice competition between him and Pickens and Dexter and along with Billings that's a low cost DL interior than makes spending on another top edge guy easier to accept. FS has been covered so all that's left for the defense is another DT and that partner for Sweat.

One of the problems with the Bears last season they couldn't consistently establish the running game in order to set up the passing game they failed to keep the other defense guessing and the other defense new what they were going to do !!!

Today could be the start of a wild ride. As always, thank you for all your work Swift... ⏬️

Great stuff. I hope we sign another Center. I like those tight ends in FA and the draft. The only wr I like is Curtis Samuel. Would love an edge in the draft Chase Young looked good in the playoffs. ⬇️

If we take Caleb 1 I don’t think we can get a center like JPJ. We could get Bartolini later but I think we have to get 2 good WR’s at 9 and 75. Hopefully Odunze and Legette. Can’t wait for this week so we can actually figure out what we need to attack in the draft. I really feel Bears switched in to win now mode so everyone buckle up and watch Poles cook!

If we sign a FA RB I'd prefer they re-sogn D'Onta Foreman. If Poles wanted to spend on RB Josh Jacobs is my guy too. At WR I'd be interested in Curtis Samuel or Tyler Boyd. At DE/Edge I like AJ Epensea or Chase Young. Chase still has LOTS of potential and I'd love to sign him to a reasonable 3 yr contract. I can not see Poles spending that much on a DT. Frankly, Wilkins has been a good DT but it wasn't until last year, his contract year when he really played great. I think spending on Wilkins would be a bad investment. Draft another DT if we trade out of #1 & #9. Add draft capital then we can draft a DT. Otherwise, re-sign Justin Jones.

I used to play a TON OF FPS games. From Halo 1-3, Gears of War, Destiny and COD. Not so much anymore, but maybe after the draft ill play some this summer haha

We just spent 3 years of 24 million to get a RB. We could have used that money keep Justin and use him as a running back. That is good marketing.

This years free agency for the Bears could yield some impact players. Normally it's a lot of plugging holes with OK guys. Getting a 3-tech and a center is where my money goes. Forget Barkley, he's ruined too many of my fantasy teams already. We need a swing tackle as well.

Kinlaw is a goood call

No disrespect, but I'm passing on the entire WR FA market. There are more than enough options in the draft that are much more affordable, with unknown and potentially great upsides. I wouldn't be opposed to a solid TE2, but grabbing a guy like Jared Wiley late in the 4th as a TE3 would make me happy. Thanks for crushing it, Swift!

Jk dobbins has the highest upside of all the backs if he can be healthy and would probably go for a vet minimum contract. I think he would be worth it for a low risk high reward signing.

Arik Armstead wants big money, but he’s older. Don’t know if Poles wants to offer another 2 year deal. Or if Armstead would take it.

We can draft Braelon Allen and get our own Derrick Henry.

Curtis Samuel on the cheap (relatively) makes too much sense for WR depth, as well as Chase Young on a one year prove-it, going forward to a 2025 draft that is looking to be loaded at DL/Edge

This is not correct. Check Overthecap .com website. Most accurate. We are at $63M AFTER the current signings. $14M or so for rookies, leaves $49M for the rest of the needs. You seem to be $20M off.
