Noticed two themes in this video: The Patriots have great special teams. The Vikings line needs to learn how to block for FGAs. Seriously, they got victimized all throughout the video. Oh... and a third: It was nice seeing the Oilers once again.

My favorite part was when they blocked the field goal and ran it back for a touchdown

Nathan Vasher and Devin Hester great Bears' moments. Interesting one on a good note for the offensive special teams was in 1980 when Alan Page as a Bear blocked a field goal right into the hands of the Green Bay famed Polish kicker, Chester Marcol, who took it into the end zone for a sudden death game winning TD at Lambeau Field. Bad Bears' moment.

Haven't we all seen that one enough? Poor Garo will always be remembered for that botched play in the SB, even though he was a very good kicker his entire career. I bet winning the Super Bowl and going 17-0 made up for it though. ;)

This video is solely blocked field goal kicks, so Gannon's pick sixes wouldn't qualify.

i was a kid at that last one, when Nathan Vasher ran that missed FG in for the longest returned TD at that time. It was so windy throwing and kicking were virtually impossible. BearDown

I think back in the day, pre-1974.when the goal posts were on the goal line, and kickers were mostly the old school straight-on types, they didn't have nearly the leg they do now, many more misses were returned out (especially since I believe the other rule back then was a missed FG wide in the end zone was just a touchback with the ball at the 20 unless someone ran it out- which is actually the logical result of the play instead of giving them the ball at the point of the kick as is the rule now).

Check out 4:35, you have the holder, a punter, chasing down a defensive back from behind. Don't see that too often. Unfortunately, he did not know how to tackle.

Very first clip: Back when this happened I was playing a guy in fantasy who had the Pats defense. Apparently in the league the rules were changed to where if this situation ever happened, the defense would get 1000 points. To conclude, I was big sad that week :(

2:09 to 2:44 - Flag was on the Giants for Unnecessary Roughness. Enforced on Kickoff. Bears won that game. 12:06 - The record is 109 as you might recall earlier in the video.

Louis Wright vs. Chargers week 11 1985. Chargers have the ball and are driving in OT to beat Denver. First blocked kick was nullified by a time-out. Dennis Smith blocked a 2nd straight kick, Louis Wright runs it in for 6 to win the ballgame. You should definitely check that out, Otherwise great compilation!
