It's kinda feeling like Mahomes and Reid are inevitable with the Chiefs. Last year They get gifted a field goal in the AFC championship by a dumb penalty. Then in the super bowl a terrible field neutralizes the Eagles historic pass rush. This year they get lucky and Bass misses a kick that would have sent it to OT. Brady made a career of getting lucky, and it looks like Mahomes mayhave taken over the crown the last couple of years.

The kicker did not miss a kick that would have sent it into overtime. He missed a kick that would have tied the game with 1:45 left with Mahomes time to march down the field and have Buckner end the game. Their only chance was a TD. If Hardman didn't fumble, nobody would be talking about a field goal.

People criticizing Allen for the loss or saying he "choked" is real dumb imo. That last drive was poor but his recievers dropped multiple huge passes leading before hand, and it wouldn't even have mattered if tyler bass had made the kick. Allen played a great but not perfect game, and whatever slack he left was not picked up by his teammates.

Such a shame that Allen may always be seen as second best to Mahomes. I think they are both incredible athletes, but there's no question who has had the better supporting cast for the last 5 years. As much as people want to make it about the individual, football is and always will be a team game. Allen was let down by his receivers, defense, coaching and bad luck in this one, as he almost always is...

So Hamlin was responsible for the 12 men on the field call… and then called his own number on the punt. Weird.

I know it‘s not meant serious but Cliff Branch got into the hall of fame in 2022 with 67 TD‘s amounting to 469 points (nice). Tucker got the ravens 1649 points. In 195 games played. That’s 8,45 points per game. That’s a receiver catching a TD every game for the last 12 years. And he still has some years in him. With all the other personal achievements I think he‘s the goat at the kicker position and therefore should represent this big part of the game. But again. I know it wasn‘t meant serious. Just wanted to vent a little 😂

I thought Barry made a great point about hot streaks. If you're picking just by which team is hotter, then you're playing with fire, pun intended. Cause every hot streak has to end. That's why they're "streaks." I'm nervous about this next game as a niners fan, but I also know that our defense is going to be better since they're probably not going to be slipping all over the field. People talking about Purdy getting lucky that the Packers missed a kick, while forgetting about all the dbs that slipped to gift green bay big plays.

The issue the Bills now face is a good chunk of their players are getting old and more expensive. You're going to have to make some hard choices and move on from some guys and roll the dice at the draft.
