ATL has been getting a lot of fines after the fact this season for helmet/helmet hits and the like. No doubt there will be a couple more from this game down the road.

I will never understand why the runner can straight up spear the defensive player to the point of injury with his helmet without a flag but if the defensive player barely nicks the runners helmet with his helmet then flags come from everywhere.

Stiff arm is the same. RB can flat out put a full hand in a defensive players face and push thier head back, but on D and you brush an offensive players face mask it's 15.

The punch to the face mask? I get that they are aiming for the ball, but in other situations a punch will draw an ejection, I think if you completely wif on the ball but hit the player it should be treated the same.

While those hits are entertaining, there are consequences to those hits that some of you idiots that are mentally like a caveman won't get the concept of and you're one of those people. Those hits that those players take do lasting damage. The league is trying to protect the players to prolong their careers to make the sports safer. All around you don't need big brutal. A** hits to enjoy a football game. Think of the person receiving those hits for a second. It's not always about. A Gladiator battle on the field. There are a lot of long-term health consequences to take a nose. Big hits in football. All that money you make aint worth nothing. If you're in a hospital bed as a vegetable later on a life because of all the hits you took in your career, stop it. Think about the players for a second instead of about what you want

A simple sack on Mahomes would be a penalty for roughing the quarterback.

There's been something fishy about rule calling in the NFL since Iike idk 07 lol it's the most consistently inconsistent officiating that insults my intelligence at this point.

Just get rid of the helmets. That’s the only way to stop helmet to helmet contact, honestly

It's really not.. all they have to do is slightly change their position on the tackle.. I get sometimes the offensive player lowers their helmet and, in that case, it should be called on offense but a lot of the times, these defensive players are literally leading with their helmet.

Think this is why I'm slowly backing out on watching football.....Sucks

mfs gotta start taking out legs/knees and once they(ref/goodell) see both can cause crazy injuries boom flags will stop being thrown lol

0:12 not a penalty. The defender was attacking the ball. Had the ball been in the receivers gut that's where the hit would have been. It's getting harder and harder to apply hits on the ball without penalty in the NFL.

All he said was "get your ass up".. that's a big dude still laying there with all of his weight on Diggs leg.. It doesn't make sense why they stand there in the line of action, when they're near the endzone plays, anyway.. they should scoot over behind the goal posts etc.
