And also... he's such a good kicker that even a 67 yarder looked like it was going right down the middle of the uprights.. he's too good for us. I wish Harbaugh used a timeout before the kick though.. If Justin plays until he's like 40 or whatever I think he's gonna be a first ballet hall of famer.. @@CorporalGrievous93 Yeah "defenseless" should really have some rules that define it, similar to "a football move" if the receiver is making a move lowering his body or crouches down to prepare for a hit then the fucker ain't DEFENSELESS he's actively trying to be defensive.

@sfuphysics Precisely. In Hill’s case, he was literally hit before he had an opportunity to react. Houston WR fully turned around and braced for impact. The hit on Burkehead was a lot more “defenseless” even if we’re using the textbook definition of “unable to defend oneself”.

As a phins fan I gotta say that Tua play was scary af.. remarkable he didn’t sustain any number of injuries. Not the same body positions, but reminiscent the way he got right up like when Michael Jordan’s leg bent back n he popped up like nothing even happened too.. When anybody watching wouldn’t think anybody could physically bend so unnaturally like that and not sustain a serious injury.. Lucky af.. I will also mention as a huskers fan I have to say that Burkhead hit was truly tough to see.. damn

@@OrdinaryDude67 and it should be the receiver’s responsibility to not be stupid and put themself in a situation where it’s easier for them to get hurt and the QB’s job to not give his WR and hospital pass, for instance, the hit on Thielan, the defender is trying to hit him to jar the ball loose if he caught it, but because you say it’s his responsibility to tackle safely, so if he catches the ball he can’t hit him since he’s sitting on the ground, is he supposed to two hand touch him?

The offensive player lowered his helmet and therefor was no longer defenseless. That is not the responsibility of the defensive player. hitting heads up, with pads on (i have to say that to rugby guys because it is completely different type of tackle) and getting incidental contact happens. This was not the case for the hit in question. Since you have forgotten so much about tackling, try using your eyes to watch one guy LOWER HIS HEAD into the path of the oncoming hit. Then try to rub both of those braincells together and come to the understanding that the hitter cannot be responsible for what another MFer does. Thats like saying a guy who gets hurdled by an athletic player screwed up by letting the dude jump 3+ feet into the air.
