This 💯, those that find it depressing haven’t experienced what he’s singing about... those that know find comfort in it. He’s pure genius... the artistry... poetry. Honestly I never use to listen to rappers that much but he’s the one I will always listen to! There’s not a song he hasn’t made that I don’t love and can’t relate to.

This song was like someone grabbing me by the arm, pulling up the sleeve and making me look at all my emotional scars. It really feels like he's telling me that I need to acknowledge all this pain in order to move on. It's ok to hurt. It's ok to feel broken. You need to stop being delusional and wake up to what's really going on. You're not ok. Everything isn't fine. You're hurt and you need help, that doesn't make you weak.

When you started saying "they're missing out on the person they'll need the most".... that made me cry because i've had a person for years who i'm meant to call my best friend, but i don't even remember anymore how it came to be that way... maybe we were just depending on each other at the beginning because of our loneliness. Recently, I was opened up by this person without a filter and I didn't even have to try hard to get into the interests he had, it was all natural and we can often casually talk about either our interests or the things we went about in our day. I hardly ever talk/chat with my best friend like this, perhaps we have from time to time before quarantine, but my memory's failing me on it. You'll be stronger without them. Anyone who intentional signals stress into your life has to go. That person stopped valuing your relationship with them long before you guys stopped talking. This happened to me too... This person may have grew envious of you overtime and decided to act this way thinking that you would never find out and if you did that you would not be strong enough to cut them off (especially if it was a best friend) Don't give them any power And don't be surprised if they try to come back into your life...

I just got introduced to NF's music recently. My 14 year old daughter loves his music so I decided to give it a listen. This is one of her favorites from NF. I literally had tears streaming down my face. This is one of the most honest heart-wrenching songs I've ever heard. Lyrically beautiful, and deep. This song touched me on such a deep and emotional level.

I agree with you because we can't possibly put a diagnosis on someone that we don't know, even if we are a mental health professional, and also our music tastes can't define a diagnosis. I don't want to tell you what to do because i don't have any right to do that, it's just an advise, but if you can afford it, maybe you can ask your daughter if she wants to see a therapist. Almost 70 years old now and think often about why we go through are whole life trying to get over the abuse of parents or others. It was when I turned 56 that God blessed me with someone who loves me unconditionally and I him Prayers to all victims of something one way or another. I'm tired of my trauma.....sad that I end up running to my fantasy world... I only find comfort in my mind,...wish I had a better life...I wish video games were real I use Zelda as escapism....I wish I had the life I always wanted... This song is relatable in so many ways and it makes me feel safe and less alone

Please stay strong, on the other side of lifes mountains lie happiness and meaning, even if you may not believe it right now. The most important thing is that you believe life will be worth the pain and it will be true. I really recommend reaching out to anyone you trust. Consider seeing a therapist as well, they can be extremely helpful. If these options don't work for you I'd also highly recommend reading mans search for meaning, as well as the power of now as they changed my life when I was struggling. I wish you the best and I hope things get better for you

Listening in on this song I realized how much of a poet NF is its so insane he's higher then the label of a rapper.

My work is too loud and i cant even hear this at full volume

It's hard to find people who truly understand what pain is.

Covid 19,my dad died,I moved schools,I feel un-loved,lonely,im deppresed,2020 is a disaster I wish it where over.

I know it will get easier on your heart one day. Just remember that with each tragedy a small spark of strength is put into your fire, it burns, but it keeps you warm, You just have to control the fire that it gives you to light your way to better times. Your head doesnt have to always be up it just has to be above water. Depression will lull you into drowning you in its waters if you dont control your grief and misery, just keep moving forward even if every fiber in your being says to stop or to quit. NEVER give up. I know you can do this
