His identity is rooted in his burdens, trauma and emotions and they are constantly hovering over him. Casting a shadow. He wants them to leave him alone. But at the same time if he lets them go he is not sure who he will be (his identity) without them. He searching for his identity....

I’ve watched many NF reactions, the fact that you are picking up on the underlying Christian themes of sin is impressive. Most people get the burdens because he points them out in The Search. Catching the theme of sins in the attire is more astute. Definitely going to start following…

The old man in the shopping cart is the old version of NF from Let You Down. Sitting in the same position that young NF was at the end of The Search with all of the burdens. NF always has many more than everyone else. To me it signifies NF’s idea of what would happen to him if he grows up but doesn’t let go of his fears and doubts etc.

I didn't hear you mention the line ""leave me alone"". Who he's telling to leave him alone is the burdens doubts anxieties anger etc. They're always in his head telling him shit. So he's telling them "leave me alone" (like the song LET ME GO> he's telling them to let him go.) He does that alot with the personifying thing (talking to them or about them like they're people).

You can take the meaning behind the video as spiritual or mental and NF even said it doesn’t have a concrete meaning and it’s what you see. But I see it as trying to remove the stigma of getting mental help. He even says in one of his songs he’s afraid of getting help and being medicated because he’s afraid it will change who he is as an artist. So he sees all these people, fans included being open about getting help and removing the masks they put on and giving away the control anxiety/burdens has over them. The scene where he’s in the cart being pushed makes me think that NF who is afraid of getting help or change but knows he needs it is being pushed forward and helped by fans to get to that point of getting help... handing over some of his burdens or anxiety. That scene with the old man looks like it’s a reflection of what he could become as an old man if he doesn’t get help. And you guys talked about fear being personified in this... he buried fear in the last album Perception, I think this emotion he is battling with is anxiety/depression. You’ll see in later songs what I’m talking about.

By nature, I just love music but it's so much better when you can get an idea of what the artist is going through not just great beat or flow in the rap although I did like how he changed the tempo and his voice so it wasn't predictable 🤔😊

He’s the biggest fan of all the reactors and to this date that I’m commenting he’s on the NF journey currently on perception album. After you see his search reaction go to his channel and view his NF journey playlist it’s awesome he’s become a huge fan NF is probably his favorite rapper now. But these guys are great too I like watching theirs even if I’ve seen it before.

In the search , remember the he said he was searching for the map to hope, have you seen it !!! Well in Leave me alone you see people getting rid of the fake mask and some of their burdens, and are wearing white to signify that they have found hope. In the search the guy gave him a chance of hope with the white outfit but he just has to except it and put the jumper on and give up some of his burdens...

@@Amicy NF MYSTERY - SOLVED (breviated) NF's entire discography is based on his personal SPIRITUAL WARFARE. In the Search album, NF is searching for God. One of God’s names (or a gift [salvation] that only God/Jesus can give to you) is Freedom. NF has been in the prison of sin (Outcast cell/shopping cart) and rejects the freedom of his salvation, because he's afraid. He's been hurt so many times that he can't allow himself to be vulnerable/walk in faith or have hope (he keeps his Mansion doors locked). Things to listen for: *NF personifies almost all of his emotions, the majority of which are evil (Fear, Anger, etc) however, some are from God (Hope, Joy, Freedom [emotive feeling], etc. *Nate sings to himself sometimes; pay attention to songs that mention or have anything to do with a mirror. The Bible says that we are made in the "image of God. *Sometimes NF vocalize both the protagonist and antagonist, within the same song. etc, etc.

I love this interpretation... any mental health issue is hard to deal with but as a Christian it seems harder at times. Especially dealing with suicidal thoughts or anxiety people assume it all goes away buy that isn't always the case. The more your life starts affecting others in a positive way the enemy always attacks you at your weakness. Best thing is when you find out what they are and you start fighting back. Nf fights back through music very inspiring. His music has helped me through. I know it has others as well.

Love the Christianity perspective your presenting. “I talk to myself in a language that’s foreign” could he be referring to speaking in tongues? What if he’s trying to “go to God” but all he sees is churches that continue to have alter calls to ask for forgiveness and yet still carry on burdens/sins? What if he’s looking for something different? To actually live to Christ without burdens or condemnation. Free from sin. Free from torment. According to the video, everyone is fake because they continue to carry their sins still, not knowing that Christ died to sin once and for all. Great reaction guys! Keep it going

What if this is about society and rap culture always trying to get NF to change who he is and his doubts are asking him if he is really doing the right thing by being different. "I don't need any advice from my doubts right now end of conversation" At the end he is thinking about or being TEMPTED or at least flirting with the idea... to just give up a couple of burdens. I'm not sure which 2 burdens those would be but isn't it always easier to just go with the flow. I mean everyone else looks fine even if they're not smiling because in this video NO ONE IS SMILING not even after they get the new white close or even after they get the fake smile wiped away. Not even the girl who is walking away with no balloons. I mean just because you have zero burdens doesn't mean you are happy. Having children could seem to be a burden but many parents are HAPPY to have that burden. WHY ISNT ANYONE SMILING? I mean according to some and their theory shouldn't they be or at least some after ?????

I feel like the people who are in black but changing to white are the people who pretend that they have bad depression and anxiety like him but really they don't because they got over theirs so easily and changed into the white happy colours so easily, when in reality it doesn't just go away just like that, if it did, then did you really have it or were you pretending just to fit in, like they wore black so they can be like "I know exactly how he feels, in exactly the same as him , I relate to him so much" but then really they're not like him at all and just changed so easily, I don't know if that made sense at All or not haha 😂

@@Amicy so I'm not sure but it seems like the doctors are giving people medicine, which erases the fake smile and looks cleaner like the clothes, but they seem more robotic, and it seems like that's part of what he's saying that he both hates and needs the voices in his head and that his emotions are real... and at the end he's tempted to let go of his worries and doubts by giving it to the doctors... but you dont see him change cloths or give up all of them, just a little... plus I think there is something to the fact that he has both options, the white and black cloths, in the cart for the whole video, which makes me think there is a difference, so even in the video he's not wearing black cloths, just his dirty worne out ones he always wears... I'm still a little confused as to why the black clothes people have the painted smile, and the white clothes people don't, but his fans in the scene where he's growing a following before they are pushing him around in his cart, are all wearing white but also have the fake smiles... I hope someone who knows NF better reads this and adds to it.

Biblically speaking, Jesus never promised Christians a good life here in this world, but said "In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." We live in a fallen sinful world but Paul in the new testament said "if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world." He was saying if you're living for Christ just to have a good life here in this fallen world then you're going to be very disappointed, We follow Jesus not because He makes everything in ours happy or something but we follow Him because He has taken our sins against God and died with them on our behalf, paying our dept before God and has promised us a place with Him in Heaven and the new earth. The life to come. If anyone told you that Christianity was going to give you your best life now, you can mark them down as a false prophet just by looking at Jesus's disciples. David Wood(christian apologist) put it like this. “ All but one of Jesus's disciples went to their bloody deaths claiming they had seen Jesus risen from the dead. Most people's explanation for the origin of Christianity is that the disciples made up a story so they could spread Jesus's message, but that explanation doesn't make any sense. If you're willing to die for something, you obviously believe it. When a terrorist blows himself up, no matter how wrong he truly is, he's obviously sincere about his belief. So Jesus's apostles had to truly believe what they were dying for, which means they were truly convinced they had seen Jesus risen from the dead. When most religions are willing to lay down their lives for something, it's for an ideology they had heard from someone else, and that ideology could be true or false. The disciples were dying for something they SAW. What convinced so many people that they had seen a resurrected Jesus. You can probably explain one or two of them away as being crazy, but all of them. You can think about it all you want but there's no other explanation for why they all had that same level of confidence, even to the point of death, than they actually saw Him.” Which means if Jesus did what He said He would do when He said He would rise from the grave on the three day, then you can believe that there is a better life to come when He said there is. Just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who paid the penalty for our sins that we stored up against God, and who did take away our biggest burden of all which was that sin. So even though we still may go through troubles here, God used through troubles to help shape us and teach us endurance, and builds our character, and gives us hope. And this hope will never put us to shame because Christ has guaranteed us He will return and has prepared a place for those who believe.

He keeps talking about the OCD and wanting the thoughts to stop f’n with him. White is representing the issue getting better. The fact that some still have black balloons, we all carry some burdens, even without having mental issues. He says he sent this song to fame, and fame said the song sucks “leave me alone” to fame that is straight funny.

It’s because we had gone live before doing this one and when we checked the live before KZread blocked it someone had thrown us off by saying it’s bout his faith. We appreciate you dropping the info

Sorry if I came in too hard, NF does mention his God in some songs. But in this one it seems, that he finally has a diagnosis of OCD, And he realizes how it affects his life, more so than he did before. I’ve been going through your NF reactions today, because I discovered you guys pretty recently, so I have some catching up to do. I’m out here watching and will drop a line with my take on things, doesn’t mean I’m right... just how I see it. ✌️
