I cant wait for you to watch episode 16 i think thats the one where it was made so well the creator locked himself in his room and watched it and cried because of how beautifully they made it. They also used a song in the background, thats lyrics ar SO beautiful and fitting to the characters. Def watch a lyric video of the song playing durring the emotional moment on the finale.

Basically, she said his (Kibutsuji) name OUT LOUD, which she shouldn't, and that's why there were arms coming out of her. That's why they have been calling him "that person" until now.

It's like Voldemort. Muzan Kibutsuji is hiding, but needs to communicate with demons to get what he wants. In order to remain hidden, he places a curse on all the demons he creates to kill them if they say his name (not perfect but it's better than nothing and allows his demons to respectfully address him in other ways.) It's also a simple way to make it clear to the demons he creates that they aren't his equal. Lady Tamayo, the demoness with the psychoactive smoke, removed this curse from herself and her minion(whose name I forgot). The curse slowly destroys the cells of any demon who speaks his name. By slowly, I do mean slowly. This time it was the sun that sped up and finished the job on the Temari demon, but the curse would have killed her either way.

So about Kibutsuji's curse: that's the reason the Demon in the town before was so deathly scared of talking about him, when Tanjiro asked. It's a self destruct trigger that Kibutsuji implants in demons he makes to stop any possibility of them going against him in any way. That's basically summed up everything we learend about it through the last few episodes.

Good point, another thing is, some demons just posses more powerful blood demon arts(these can improve but not change)since they become demons, she got the spells one. So she isn't the close combat attacking type, when well planned her spells are badass.

Demons cannot say Muzan’s name, except Lady Tamayo because Lady Tamayo is not under Muzan’s curse any more. Lady Tamayo said his name and that was fine for her, but when the other girl demon said his name, she died from the curse. Muzan will not let the demons under his curse talk about him. It is forbidden. Muzan killed that demon.

They aren't supposed to say Muzan's name its basically saying he's a demon is part of the curse is why those arms grew out of her & as you can see the way he's been dressing and putting himself up as he doesn't want to be viewed as such. They are right to say how petty he is because remember that previous episode where they pointed out how his skin was pale like a demon. He basically wants to be viewed as a human especially when you see he had a "wife" & "child" which he wants even more to be looked at as a human rather than a demon.

You gotta love Nezuko just gaining strength and out of her own will and the time she had spent sleeping really built up her "energy" so she could fight and be able to get stronger that way instead of how other demons feed off of humans. This is why she's my favorite character! Love her so much! She is also the most adorable monster! Love your reactions to this episode! I agree Tanjiro & Nezuko sibling bond is so wholesome! Looking forward to the next one! 😄

To explain why she cried, the flashback Yoshiro, while it does explain his background, isn't about him. She said when she offered him the choice "Losing your humanity will cause you pain and grief". Those are a reflection of her own feelings. Nezuko seeing her as human made her feel as if she still retained her humanity on some level.

Remember why the triple demon was afraid of talking about Muzan? That's why In the flash back of the last of triple muzan says that he must never utter his name bla bla im always watching you type deal

Guy Begging the girl at the end you saw on The Final Selection, the guy was the guy that got a Sparrow instead of a crow and was complaining that he was going to die.

kibutsuji is one of the most important demons. and just like how he was hiding from demon slayers by blending into humans (by making a family), he really wants to be kept a secret, even his name being said by other demons is a big liability for him. so he put a curse on every demon that if they say his name, they will die. she was saying “that person” the whole time, she wasn’t saying kibutsuji.

Remember the portal demon a few episodes ago and how he was scared to talk to Tanjiro and how Muzan said he can't even say his name. Muzan's curse makes it any Demon that shares any information about him will be killed, (Because all Demon's have his cells in their body he has power over them.) Tamayo's curse made it she was basically like a drunk that can't keep a secret and accidentally said Muzan's name which triggered the curse.

The Kibutsuji curse = if you speak about good ol' MJ demon, you die, even uttering his name caused that to happen, this is to prevent any info about him leaking. The Temari demon said "Not Lord Kibutsuji" because Tamayo's Blood Demon Art weakened her brain functions.... Tamayo made her so she wasn't careful with her words at all.

In 10 episodes he has a 10 day stint with a cliff hanger.. that puts him around S1 E19-20 ... OH NO.... Luke... OH NONONO.

As depicted in the anime, when Yushiro was dying from an illness, his life was saved by Tamayo, who is both a demon and a doctor, and through Tamayo's special method, he became a demon. Because of this, he goes out of control because of love, but please watch over him kindly.😂❤

Nezuko has barely spoken in the entire show and is still getting praise as a character. That's how you know the writers did it right.

Muzan places a curse on every demon he creates such that they self-destruct if they speak his name. Tamayo mentioned last episode that she broke the curse on herself (and presumably Yushiro never had it since she created him). She used her blood art to weaken the temari demon's mind and goaded her into saying the name. Pretty savage way to kill an enemy, honestly. Also, the Moons are decidedly _not_ on his level. They're just much closer than normal demons.

The Zenitsu hype starts now…. ✊🏻

Luke I think you need to have a notebook to take note on things, because most of your questions/doubts are on things already explained that either you didn't hear or you forgot (like for example, Muzan's curse, Tamayo lifestyle and the why she isn't that "strong," details about demons such as their difference in strength levels affecting their death (how long it lasts the "dusting" process), their powers, regeneration, etc; and some other stuff).

Tamayo isn't that strong for her age because she refuses to eat humans barring a small amount of blood as little as necessary and she hasn't recieved any of Muzan's Blood barring just what initially turned her into a Demon. Demon's power is based on how many people they eat, how much of Muzan's Blood they receive (And how much blood you can handle varies from person to person and how many humans they eat.), and some people just have more powerful base stats to "level up" when they turn into Demons. Older Demons are usually more powerful simply because they've had more time to eat more humans, but if they can handle a huge dose of Muzan Blood they can get stronger faster.

I know im late to say this since its the 10th episode now, but man i love your reaction so much. I’ve been watching since episode 1 reaction! It really made me enjoy the reaction when seeing you seriously trying to understand the story. I hope you react to demon slayer until the end of the show! 🎉

When a demon says Muzan's name it triggers a curse which kills them painfully

20:59 its not just that she was asking for her temeri and for someoen to play with her but that at this point it is starting to be very evident that a demon’s powers are characteristic of their desire as a human like the hand demon during the test wanted his older brother to hold his hand which is why hes enveloped in hands and now this temari demon wanted someone to play with her which would explain her multiple arms and her rather playful nature too furthermore we know that all demons has the ability to shapeshift so its possible that shes actually younger then she looks (when she was turned into a demon) which never actually confirmed within the series but is confirmed in a data book that reveals that yes she was just originally a young girl who wanted others to play with it seems kibutsuj muzan’s criteria for turning others into demons is by exploiting their vulnerabilities from whence they were human

What happened with the temari demon is caused by her saying Muzan Kibutsuji's name out loud. Kibutsuji's name to demons is basically like saying voldemort's name, it's taboo for demons because for them it's death sentence due to the curse Kibutsuji puts on them. Lady Tamayo used her enchanting blood to confuse the temari demon, the enchanting blood i think have somewhat hypnotic effect, so it makes the temari demon accidentally saying Kibutsuji's name, which then triggers the curse and killed her. It's the reason why the swamp demon from episode 5 was so scared when Tanjiro asked him about Muzan, because if he said anything about Muzan, it would trigger the curse and instantly killed him. You would notice demons never utter Muzan's name, they either call him "The lord", or "Him", or "That man". Except for Lady Tamayo, she can say Muzan's name because she broke the curse.

Essentially for most demons if you say Muzans name you die, That's why the demon refer to him as Lord or that man. Nezuko seeing Tamayo as family really hits different when you learn more about her.

Seems you forgot how the swamp demon from the previos mission freaked out when Tanjiro asked about Muzan. In his flashback Muzan told him to keep quiet when turning him into a demon.

Both the Demons and the Slayers are pitiful existences, their lives will always be marked by sadness

Another thing to note is that in ep 8 she says that she removed Muzan's curse from herself. It's not said in the anime but in the manga (not a spoiler) Nezuko and Lady Tamayo are the only demons that have managed to get rid of Muzan's curse, and since Tamayo is the one who turned Yushiro he never had the curse.

Something i realized is that the arrows from the arrow demon would be manipulating air pressure (like when you throw a punch super hard and air moves the same direction) that would explain everything that happens in the fight

Demons that are still loyal to Muzan, unlike Tamayo and Yushiro, cannot say Muzan's name, if they say Muzan's name they die. It's a way to incentivize them to not give demon slayers info on Muzan so he can stay hidden.

Kibutsuji's curse was basically, when demons says his name "Kibutsuji or Muzan or Both" that will trigger the curse and kill that demon. The curse was in their blood because of muzan's blood that in their body. But Tamayo is okay despite being a demon because as she said in the past episode, she tweaked her body to remove the curse. So she can say Kibutsuji's name.

The young man who appeared at the end of the episode is more annoying than Yoshiro, but he is the soul of the Anime, hhhhh

The Kibutsuji curse is basically like how if someone says ''voldemort'' suddenly theyre able to be tracked down, but here rather than giving your location away, it's imminent death. Kibutsuji turning all these people into demons himself would put a massive target on himself and his identity, so he cursed each and every demon he created so that if they utter his name, exposing his identity, they die like this demon girl did. Lady Tamayo found a way to rid herself of this curse, and her saying that Kibutsuji is a coward was because he created curses like the inability to say his name to protect himself from being exposed, the inability for demons to band together to revolt against him, making them all fear him, etc etc (ofc with exceptions like Tamayo and Nezuko) Now, we know that Kibutsuji's identity was exposed anyway since the demon slayer corps DO know his name, knowing he's the first demon etc, but you'll later find out how they found out about him despite his self-preservation curses

13:35 You need to remember that all the demons have Kibutsuji's Blood (Michael Jackson as you remember him) in them. He can control that blood and that is the origin of the "Curse". Every time the demons "out" him / reveal info / betray him, the curse activates (The hands that came out of the demon). Edit: The decreased brain function part was from the Lady's Blood Power (The Lady Doctor Demon). She manipulated the conversation such that the demon said Kibutsuji's Name (which only a few people should know and counts as info to be hidden).

The Kibutsuji curse is the curse given to all of the Head Demons followers so that if they ever give out any information about him, that the blood that he gave all of them to get stronger will destroy them from the inside out.

The twelve 'moon demons' are divided into the upper six and lower six and there is a substantial power difference between those two levels as well. This show does a good job of showing increasing ability and the sheer difference from the start to where we are currently is clear and earned through experience and training. I've never really liked multiple episode fights because they feel flat and dragged out - but Demon Slayer won me over, the way they keep things fresh with natural developments in tactics makes the ebb and flow of the fights great to watch.

Little spoiler about the moon demons bellow (just like about how they are organized and why that girl were killed by the curse) . . . . . . . . . . There are normal demons, lower moons and upper moons (the upper are the most powerful bellow muzan) Only those moons are allowed to utter muzan's name without any retribution. (take this carefully as I'm talking bassed on my memories but I'm pretty sure upper moons mentions muzan's name later in the anime).

1:07 Well episodes 16 to 21 are the worst of season 1 (talking about the cliffhangers, not the episodes), after that they start setting up Mugen train arc. 3:34 The more blood a demon has received from Muzan the longer it takes for them to dissintegrate. And Luke Tanjiro never sheathed his sword after defeating Yahaba. 13:50 Tamayo used enchanting blood to make Susamaru say "Kibutsuji" out loud. That's the demon kings curse you'll die if you say his name that's why the demons always said "him". Tamayo can say his name as she removed Muzan's curse and Yushiro was never turned by Muzan so he wouldn't be under it. And the two demons didn't lie they believed that they were recognised by Muzan and part of the 12 demon moons. Tamayo said "more on par" last episode not "on par" so they're stronger than normal demons as they've received more blood from Muzan but the demon king is way stronger than any of the moons. I will let you know that there are two versions of Mugen train a 2 hour movie and a 7 episode TV version. Episode 1 takes place before the movie so you should watch that regardless then watch the movie OR episodes 2-7. The episodes are a little more detailed as they weren't limited to a 2 hour movie format. Main differences are that opening "Akeboshi" and ending "Shirogane" both by Lisa only play in the episodes, and there's no ad breaks or Taisho secrets in the movie. "Homura" by Lisa is the movie's theme so it plays as a special ending in episode 7 of the Mugen train arc. I recommend watching all of Mugen train in one sitting and to play the whole ending on episode 7 or the movie.
