There's no debate. Neymar is younger but better than Hazard. This season Hazard played 300 mins more than Neymar. Both play in the same left sided role as attacking mid or winger. Neymar scored 39 goals, Hazard scored only 19. Neymar scored 1 pk goal but Hazard 7. Neymar assisted 7 goals, Hazard 11. Neymar has 0.7 successful dribbles and Hazard has 0.6 per game. For those ppl who said Hazard defends more, Neymar has better collective numbers in tackle, clearance and interception combined this season. All stats based on who scored web site. Performance against big teams: excluding his penalties Hazard flopped but Neymar scored 5 against PSG ( Hazard couldn't help Chelsea win against even 10 man PSG), Neymar scored 3 against Bayern and 3 against Atletico and also scored against Real and Juv. Hazard has no achievement except that biased PFA player of the year. Neymar scored 3rd highest number of goals in all competitions only behind current best and 2nd best player. Neymar created record by scoring goals in all UCL games from QF to Final. Neymar is 3rd highest goalscorer of la liga, highest goal scorer of UCL as well as CDR. Ppl say Hazard is Chelsea's main player still he doesn't have the most goals or assist even for Chelsea. Neymar is playing a reduced role in presence of Messi still he did put in a lot of effective performances that helped Barca win treble. Let's see how they perform for their national teams. Neymar 64 games 44 goals and 27 assists Hazard like 58 games 8 goals and 15 assists. So, for the national team also in absence of Messi or Suarez, Neymar is a prolific goal scorer but Hazard can't score a goal to save his life and Neymar is also a better creator because he has almost double the assists Hazard has. Like Hazard if Neymar is allowed to take penalties he would score 50 goals in a season while Hazard only dreams of scoring 25 goals in a season. Neymar's dribbling and skills are better since he goes through 4-5 defenders with ease a lot of times. Neymar has better attacking positioning, acceleration, dribbling skills, finishing than Hazard and he can play any style (possession or counter attack) and still make telling difference for his team. I agree players like Messi, Suarez, Robben and Ronaldo may be better than Neymar but I don't think Hazard, Bale, James, Reus, Muller etc brilliant players are better than him. Thanks.

Hamza Hassan Read my comment first, I compared their main offensive stats (goals and assists), their successful dribbling stats, their defensive stats and their stats for the country. If you are a winger, you can help your team directly by scoring and assisting. In Barca attack flows through Messi and in Chelsea attack flows through Hazard. So, Hazard got the ball a lot more than Neymar and so he could boost his dribbling stats though Neymar leads him in successful numbers of dribblings per game. Neymar scored 20 goals more than Hazard (25 if you deduct penalty goals) and Hazard has only 4 assists more than Neymar despite hogging the ball all the time. So, what would you take? 20-25 goals more with goals in big games or 5 assists more? I know the answer. That sqawka site only gives you ratings only based on performance in domestic league but ignores UCL and cup. So, that's incomplete. Okay, if you are still confused just watch them play for their national teams where Neymar assisted 27 goals almost double the asists Hazard provided in similar number of games and Neymar scored 30 more goals than Hazard for the NT too, even if you decide to ignore scoring stats.

Why else does he have an average of 2.2 shots per game. When barca are attacking and are at the opposition, they always look for Messi and expect him to score. Chelsea don't always look for hazard. They expect the striker to score all the goals. That's why Costa, remy and Drogba score majority of the goals. Like I said, hazard complete more successful dribbles then any other player in Europe's top 5 league this season and only Messi(258) completed more dribbles in the last 2 seasons than hazard(254). you can compare the stats per 90 min on squawka in the CL and hazard still leads neymar majority of the stats. Also according to whoscored, hazards(7.96) rating is higher than neymar (7.94) so it shows that hazard is better. In the national team neymar plays as a striker because Brazil have no other strikers that are good while Belgium have lukaku, Benteke and origi so hazard can't play up there so he plays on the left. If you want to compare players, don't compare them to just goals and assists. Compare other stuff because hazard is not a goalscorer while neymar is
