The dashcam I have, hardwired to power via a "smart supply" ( always on but only for external "bumps" when stopped ) also lets you download to your phone by Wi-Fi, unfortunately only on it's Wi-Fi channel so you have to have the car on and sit in the car while trying to download all the videos. so much easier to be able to set it up to hook-up to your home Wi-Fi automatically when you get home to dump to a NAS etc or manually log in on the home computer, with the option to download a "file" onto your phone to send to the cops IF asked for it.

There’s a US company called dongar that supply powered rear mirror wiring looms with a usb port and various dash cam adapter cables. Allows you to install as a nice neat job.

Which button saves a video? Middle 'nextbase' doesn't do the job for me

i wasnt able to read a single plate on any car in this video. was about to buy at costco for $230 including a rear view cam, but now i know not to. thanks

The video has been scaled for yt, I have the camera and I can read number plates fine

It’s a shame the auto focus on the camera you filmed this on was poor and couldn’t keep up. Good review overall though.

Yeah, I need to get a new camera, one with better auto focus so I dont have to do it manually, appreciate your kind words :)
