Just traded in my car for a new one and I left my old dashcam in it so on the lookout for a new one and this one looks like it fits the bill !!! Certainly has lots more functionality than my old one had, thanks for the video Dave, appreciated as always.

I was seriously considering this until I saw one in the flesh. It's a big dashcam, and in some cars, it could impede visibility if you can't fix it behind the rearview mirror. It's also expensive and to take advantage of all the features, you have to buy a subscription. I've decided to go for the Nextbase 622GW instead. Thanks for the video.

I’ve just recently purchased the IQ 2k camera with rear camera too I’m awaiting for the professionals to come and install it for me next week. Looking forward to having it fitted . I hope it’s worth the money I paid , although I did buy it under there Xmas offer they had running with £50 off the camera.

Great choice.

Nice little video. But to be honest I think you need to review both the functionality of both the front and rear cameras together. I’ve Just had my Nextbase iQ front and rear cameras fitted today by a professional auto electrician. I’ve read quite a few comments regarding the rear camera not working or it’s very hit and miss. Also trying to live view is again hit and miss. This is getting very frustrating and considering the whole lot has cost £600. You’d think it would all work as intended. Considering this camera has been delayed on its release. I asked Nextbase why was it delayed for so long and they told me it was going through more testing. Looks like have to keeping my fingers crossed that Nextbase pulls their finger out and gets these issues resolved 😖

Hi great review almost. I have the 4k from launch as well as the rear. The quality is definitely one of the best out there. It is expensive. To get the most out of this though it does require a subscription and the top tier at that. The biggest letdown though is the advanced AI features are still.not available which is Guardian Mode and Roadwatch.. these are the two features i hope they release soon. There has been multiple updates and the live feed is much better although not great still. Rear cam is also more reliable. It records in 30 secound clips only. So if nextbase are watching id like a release date of the main selling features advertised yet not available still 5months in nearly.
