To start our Indian street food tour of Varanasi, we went to a 160-year-old shop to have a delicious vegetarian breakfast, Puri, Sabji, and Jalebi.
To continue our Indian street food tour of Varanasi, we went to the old town of Banaras to taste some traditional Indian desserts and try the most delicious and colourful Lassi.
Moving on with our Indian street food tour of Varanasi, we went to have some traditional Banaras village-style food. We had the opportunity to try the most unique vegetarian food in India so far.
To end our Indian street food tour of Varanasi, we went for some of the best vegetarian Chaat we've ever had in India.

What an incredible food tour of Varanasi! Those lassies omg had our mouths watering! They looked soooo good. The thali with the breads cooked in cow dung was extremely unique, what an experience. Followed by the chaat which looked so flavourful. Varanasi looks like an amazing city, we can't wait to visit someday. Thanks so much for sharing your food tour with us!

As a banarasi (native Varanasi) you read the comments and think how I am not enjoying that much.... Anyways Banaras (also known as Varanasi) is a place to live not just simple a tour. Live hear atleast 15-20 days. And you will found the real Banaras. Enjoy.

These are local village dishes limited to a certain part of the country. Though dried up cow dung doesn't smell or when burnt you can't identify any difference between dried cow dung or paper, cow dung is used in crops too..

I'm from varanasi but I live in Mumbai. I went to varanasi last year after 10 years with my girlfriend and we went to all these places multiple times. You should've tried eating rabri jalebi as well and paan.
