🇻🇳 NEXT LEVEL Banh Mi Tour in Da Nang - First Day in Danang Vietnam
Today is my first day ever in the Central Vietman city of Danang and I plan to eat as many Banh Mi as humanly possible.
First I headed to one of the best and most unique Banh Mi I’ve ever had. The shop is called Bánh mì nướng lạng sơn and it serves a grilled banh mi brushed with soy sauce stuffed with grilled pork - 15,000 VND
Directions to Bánh mì nướng lạng sơn: goo.gl/maps/e2HVgAYd9m82jPRa7
The second was a meat filled one which was recommended by Tien which was also incredible. The shop is called Bánh mì Bà Lan and is closer the the centre of Da Nang. They serve a more classic meat filled banh mi with really high quality ingredients.

My name’s Gary and I’ve been living in Bangkok for the past five plus years and travelling Thailand for over ten. I’m obsessed with Thai street food and it’s that obsession that led me to start this KZread channel. I want to share my favourite hidden spots in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand so you can fall in love with authentic, local Thai food as much as I have!
I’ve never understood travelling to a town or city and not eating the local food. How else do you really connect with a place? Let’s get out and explore together and I guarantee you’ll find a whole different side to this wonderful country.
If you love seeing off the beaten path, non-touristy, local life and authentic local life in Bangkok and Thailand then this is the channel for you. If go go bars on the Sukhumvit Road are more your thing (I’m not judging) then maybe not!

I love Bánh Mi, my second favorite Vietnamese food, only behind Bún Bò Huế, which Max really loves it. Thanks for making videos of my country. Love from California, USA.

That grilled marinated pork looks yum. One of the reasons I love Vietnam is their food. Enjoy exploring and trying out local cuisine. Da Nang is the place to be if you want to be away from the polluted atmosphere in the big cities, but still want to enjoy a city’s convenient modern life.

Eating delicious bahn mi sitting on the ground by the side of the road is my idea of a good time-will have to do it vicariously through you till I make my way there. It's a bit comforting to see you doing your thing even when you aren't familiar with the language, since that's certainly how I'll be winging it in Thailand! Even through the language it was great to see the warmth and small gestures of kindness from the people you interacted with-from the stranger who made sure to get you a chair, to the employee who wanted you to know who the *real* boss was. Thanks for the great video Gary!

The very first Banh Mi you tried in this video comes from my hometown Lang Son(so happy with this coincidence ^^). @@theroamingcook No relation in words whatsoever . In English if you want new words you add more syllables.
