@@jwdracingnetwork8851 it almost seems like the next gen car in iracing is actually what we are gonna get. Really hoping I'm wrong on this one but I feel like we're all being blinded by hype and made ignorant to the fact that this car is to damn slow.

@@chaotictoaster1094 I think it’ll get better with time. Teams need to find the speed and evolve. May take a few months may take a few years (think gen 4 at the beginning and then as the twisted sister). As for The iRacing version is definitely screwed up because it was rushed and there isn’t enough data yet so that’ll get better soon as well.

Dear Nascar, I'm not on a fan counsel nor do I sim race. I'm simply asking you to stop playing with the engines reducing hp and adding down force in this new car. Let teams get all the speed they can for the first few races then consult with drivers and owners. NOT FANS !!! You've already proven nobody can get seriously hurt anymore. Let those motors turn. Please.

They've been removing downforce. Stop your blind hatred for change. Also if you have an issue with cars being slow, watch F1 where they are quite literally the fastest cars in the world. I've generally found the slower cars produce better racing. Drivers much more willing to take risks and all that. The speed is cool, but touring car racing (which (especially looking the Next Gen Car) Is what NASCAR is kinda emulating) is all about that good old beating and banging. There is a reason I saw if NASCAR fans want to branch out, do everything you can to watch the BTCC.

@@cbj4sc1 especially old school BTCC with Murray Walker commentary, and you have a point and I will expand upon it, yes, F1 cars are the fastest but they rarely ever put on an enjoyable race, Sunday at Brazil was a rare exception.

Quit giving drivers a car that's as comfortable as driving on a interstate highway & give them a car that feels like they're driving on a narrow & curvy dirt road out in the country. We want to see competition where you can pass without a drafting partner or knocking the bumper off of the front car

Forever what made a cup car was 800+ hp. Car flies into the corner hard on the brakes and struggle putting power down off the corner. Now just hold it wide open. That's a video game not real racing. Does anyone not remember 2014? High hp and downforce track records falling every week. Most lead changes in years.
