Just go into it open-minded. These bodies are symmetrical with basically no side force so we don't want to make them too hard to drive cause at some point it hurts the racing product the same way them being too easy to drive does. COT had 900 with symmetrical bodies and although it was sick to watch the guys work the wheel on long runs; I do think it had a factor in that era of racing being known for very strung out races at big tracks.

@@samharris3508 fair enough. I’m never bothered by it being strung out either but sadly the days of just loading the cars down with as much hp as possible and them going 400 laps green are over. It’s bad for rating and overall isn’t popular. This is the whole reason we had 550 hp and the stages were created in the first place. If u want these cars to be even somewhat hard to drive you better pray for a package that can keep the cars together and competing. Just something to think about because nascar already doesn’t want to do this and is only going up to 670 because they have to. One bad season and they’ll say F it and drop the hp below 500 and we’ll be watching bumper cars on Sundays

the most beautiful sound to me is the fact that there is some off throttle time to be honest. I absolutely hate the fact that the past couple years they basically just floored it all the way around the 1.5milers

Make restrictor plate racing better and safer by making the cars much harder to drive. Basically make the cars where they 100% crash is they are driven flat footed all the way around the track. That will spread them out and bring car setup back into the game

Hope this is a start to a happy medium between the pack racing bumper car rubber band fans VS strait away hp less downforce old school fans. Give us at least 45 min to an hour practice to find handling.

Are they going to be allowed to run that rear camera and screen too? They need as much HP as they can get to burn the right rear.

Yes, as far as I understand. The rear camera is a regular tool now.

The rear camera is actually going to be optional from what I’ve heard. Some drivers were running it and others were running a regular mirror

@@ianperry9598 the regular mirror is a must as the camera is a option. Cameras break those mirrors typically don't. I doubt it will be one or the other. It's either both or just the mirror
