Several months ago, I reviewed a handful of crypto interest accounts and decided that Celsius Network was my top choice for earning passive income in cryptocurrency. However, Nexo was a close second with comparable rates and similar features, so I mentioned that I’d be keeping an eye on it to see if it was ever worth revisiting.
Since then, Nexo has brought a lot of improvements and new features to their platform, so it’s time to put Celsius and Nexo head to head for an in-depth comparison. We’ll start by comparing the interest rates on each platform, which is probably the core function that most users are looking for. Of course, by earning yield on your crypto assets, you can safely achieve compound growth and passive income with ease, which is why I’m so obsessed with using these types of platforms. We’ll also be comparing some of the other core features of each platform, including in-app swaps or trades, crypto-backed loans, and crypto rewards credit cards. Both Celsius and Nexo also offer a native token, so we’ll touch on the tokenomics of each to see how they contribute to their respective ecosystems. Ultimately, the platform that’s best for you will probably come down to the numbers on all of these products, so we’ll wrap up with a summary to help you figure out where you’ll earn the absolute most on your crypto.

I've been on Celsuis. Looking into Nexo. In just a couple of months since you posted this video, some significant changes have been made to the rewards, such as Cel limiting their top rates to the first 0.1 BTC. I cannot seem to do much in Nexo without full KYC, so it seems they have changed that now too. I'm leaning toward moving my holdings to Nexo. Appreciate your info and unbiased comparison
Great up-to-date, comparison! No swap feature yet on Celsius gives Nexo a clear advantage. Otherwise you explained the differences very well.

The answer is simple. Open an account in all exchanges - you don't want everything in one single exchange. That's to risky. And if you are on the max tier of the reward, ask relatives if you can open an account under their name and spread your assets. That way you keep gaining the max percentage.

@@ValueForInvestors yes it's a little bit of a headache to manage all the accounts but it' is one way to go around also might give you the opportunity to use some of the exchanges restricted for US residents.

It’s pretty standard for all KYC processes - Nexo is certainly legitimate so I trust them with the KYC process and submitting my info. 🙂

Celsius now gives platinum if you hold 25k tokens. So, less than 25% for large wallets.

Yep, and the boosted rates now apply to CEL token earnings too, which is a nice update. 💪🏼
When using Nexo as the collateral asset for a loan then interest is still paid on that collateral.

Both have been very reliable for me so far. I know a little bit more about Celsius' business/strategies for generating yield, and can say I feel very confident in their sustainability. But I see no red flags on either side yet.
