I fucking love the Gundam Mark II. It feels like a perfect blend of a Gundam type and a grunt. I should get myself one of these in the future. Great work!

MkII one of the little few Gundams that made the whole Gundam franchise popular.

I started to stockpile mission model paint and for my second custom paint job I was going to work on an hg gm sniper 2 give it the white/medic paint job though I'm having my doubts since I'm painting by hand.

Perfect build..just some areas like the front hatch has sink marks ..also at the inner front elbow area as well which needs sanding n filling..not to mention the shield with some sanding would smooth it out...Great job btw bro..I just painted build mine..no added lights..urs is amazing.😍

If I didn't know better I would have guessed that Bandai commissioned you to make that MG Ex Unicron possible. lol

I can't decide if that hint at the end was for Zaku or Zeta. Probably not Wing though. I appreciated the comparison between the other old school PGs! With them being so old, there's not a ton of information out there compared to the newer ones.

Beautifully done man. I love the MK-II a lot and the Zeta Gundam series got me into Gundam and Gunpla building

Brilliant, absolutely spectacular work! I actually watched from start to end and I picked up so many new tips and tricks. As I am quite new to this hobby, I have some questions to improve myself in the long run, and apologies in advance if they're stupid: 1) when you're doing pre-shading, does that count as 'panel lining' since you're separating the panels through shadowing? 2) did you paint the inner frame? I got confused which were armor plates and which were the inner frame 3) how did you panel line those little notches? (Did you panel line at all?) 4) did you topcoat? Thanks so much for making this video it is truly stellar work :)

Would it be possible that next time you do a LED build you include the methodology/logic of where you put the wires throughout the model?

In Japan and Korea they call it the 'Maktu,' so that's probably why he's saying it that way.

I don’t know how fond you are of godzilla but there are some kiryu model kits out there that would look DOPE if you customized them

Update: watched the newer LED tutorial again and I guess I should ask Is that an adapter that allows you to use the smaller drill bits and if yes did it come with the drill?

At 4:20 the Mark II doesn't have a pyscho frame cockpit my guy (pyscho frame came from chars counter attack onwards).

I'm gonna be that guy Because the earliest form of psycho frame was made before CCA by the the Titan remnants and equipped to the psycho Gundam mkIV G-doors

I say build some hg rg and mg the next few builds make life a lil easier

I'd say I'm willing to bet, but Otaku Builder isn't the usual Gunpla fan. I'd only expect the most hardcore to take on Zeta or Wing.

Also you should try pre shading your red pieces with a dark green, they’re complementary colors on the color wheel and to me, give a more natural color value contrast

Something I like about the older PGs is how it's more direct to the point, less flash, and more substance. I like how it's straight forward. I also like the open-hatch gimmick that shows off much of the inner frame. I have some PGs. I only get the PG 00 series. So far I have: - GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser - GN-0000+GNR-010 Trans-Am Raiser - GN-001 Gundam Exia [Lighting Model] - GN-001RE Gundam Exia Repair Parts Set - GN-0000GNHW/7SG 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G I'm saving up little by little to get PG GN-0000GNHW/7SGD2 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection.

That's why you're always butthurt whenever Bandai/Sunrise announces a UC release or project. Guess some people in US can't swallow third parties model kits. Those exist for reasons, other experienced modellers who need for kit bashing and those who can't afford the more expensive ones

If you're going to talk like you know what you're talking about, please actually know what you're talking about. It's not the Mach II, it's the Mark II. You should definately not be refering to the original as the RX as almost every Gundam type mobile suit in the early to mid Universal Century had an RX prefix in their model numbers. And the GP-01 is one of many mobile suits with the GP suffix in their model number, so calling it the GP0 is too nonspecific.
