Newton's third law of karma: MAYA -- INNOVATIVE BHARATANATYAM at TEDxTughlaqRd

MAYA -- INNOVATIVE BHARATANATYAM
Sung and unsung heroes, local and national, shared their diverse gifts with an inspired audience at TEDxTughlaqRd. TEDxTughlaqRd followed the celebrated TED format of brilliant curation, multidisciplinary talks and performances and power packed sessions of 'ideas worth spreading.'
Under the able choreography of Dakshina Vaidyanathan, a prominent young Bharatanatyam danseuse, Maya is an innovative Bharatanatyam performance group.
The dancers are all senior disciples of the Padma Bhushan awardee, Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan. They tour frequently in India and abroad.
Maya has recently presented two cutting edge productions at Kamani Auditorium, Delhi. 'Zero To Infinity' showed the evolution of technology in the medium of Bharatanatyam and 'Nakshatram', based on the zodiac signs that govern our personalities. They have premiered a new production for TEDxTughlaqRd
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Bless you my Devis. I absolutely love that the Indian woman emerging strongly into the forefront as guiding angels to society. This I imagine was the status of a woman in the Vedic period. More strength to you! Loved every bit of the performance.

Karma is more complicated than laws of Newton. Newton’s laws can’t take into account intentions, runanubandha and karmas from other lifetimes. As in her introduction, if you don't want bad things to happen to you in the future, don't ignore or dismiss those more unfortunate than you - help them - that will improve your own karma and help others out of their own karmic holes. Great dance anyway.

Past Karma is the framework which determines our individual birth - personality, parents to whom we are born and the background in which we grow up. Our free-will determines our spiritual evolution. Anyone who is born into an underprivileged background can evolve his/her soul by using their brains/ mind in the right direction. Our conscience guides us. Soul travels a long journey through birth and death, by action and deeds towards perfection and ultimate enlightenment.

Pure aesthetic delight to watch the dancing episode by a trained and skilled performer and her graceful team. The pseudoscientific acceptation of Newton's third law of motion and using technical semantic vectors like equilibrium and above all the fashionable nonsense of linking action and reaction forces to an evanescent metaphysical construct is sheer cognitive dissonance.

Even the modern Scientists have questioned Newton’s third law. This is hard core Hindu philosophy of always finding explanations, BG 2 47 itself refutes such cause and effect. Top Hindus like this idea so they can prove they are better than the shudras!

Most of commentators are not aware of intrinsic unity of world. They watch at the world from the position of tamas, type of knowledge who only sees separate realities, newer knowing sattva, holistic knowledge, where the same essence is manifested throughout all realms.

The law of karma has nothing to do with newtons laws. this is a mixed up hoge poge.....equal and opposite ? some reactions for actions is far greater than the action. and if was equal and OPPOSITE then one would get suffering for good actions and nice reward for bad actions. of equal amounts...such nonesense!!!!. The dance in itself is well done she just needs to understand the philosophy of Karma better and not confuse it with Newtons theories. Hari bol. AGTSP.
