When he said "the first fruits of my day." That hit me like a ton of bricks. I've always prayed throughout the day and read my Bible before bed, but the morning is "the first" of the day. And we're supposed to give God the first 10%. 10% of a day is 2 hours and 24 minutes. If I would just spend that time in the word, prayer and praise in the AM I know that would make my day so much better. Thank you for that light bulb!

I thank God for you John James . Your testimony is so encouraging to me . I’ve failed Jesus so many times in my life, I thank God for his love and grace and his mercy. I know the shame but I know his grace all the more. Times are very dark and I pray for you Sir as I do many others that we stand firm in the faith and hold on to Jesus with all that is with in us . dear John James, thank u 4 d encouragement from your dad: 'son u cannot change d past, but u can take responsibility 4 d present'. i'm encouraged by that , n i want 2 encourage u 2 bring back d captives of zion [ psalm 126] with d platform u now have. if u only will use God's word, it has d power 2 break d hardest of hearts, n melts them like wax. u used 2 b a wild horse, n your heart have have been broken by d horse breaker. d wild streak of a man has left u, n now u serve a useful purpose 4 your master n others. now u have a destiny n a reason 2 live. i have a regret that i want 2 share with u. when i look at my face in d mirror, i see d sins of my past showing on my face like a person can guess that a person is a drug user just by looking at their face.

My husband and I got to talk with this patient man on their way to the Magic Kingdom in CA. And got all their autographs. So great to see him fulfilling the true mission God set before him. My husband talked to Frankenstein as well. I walk to their songs daily remembering good times with my teens. Glorious! Thank you, Jesus.

He is the GOD of 70 x 70 2nd chances. Thank GOD for John's true life testimony. Stay Strong is, and will be, one of the top all time faith and encouraging christian songs. Stay Strong my brother John.

Just as one can look back on their life and see when God has had their back. Even when you had blown it to the point of feeling less than worthy, God still has your back and will bring you back into the fold. He loves you, always.

Incredible testimony, God bless his wife for staying with him through him it all. There’s nothing like a strong Proverbs 31 woman giving support and encouragement when a man is at his lowest. When my wife discovered I had a bad addiction to amphetamines she met me with some tough love but also grace, hope and encouragement. Her Godly character towards me in my failure and darkness inspired me to have strength and motivation to overcome the addiction and I’m forever grateful...

I have to say, their songs are anointed. I can't help to worship God. Words are funny and powerful. God was still God in y'all. Amazing!

I became a Christian in 1997, my friend Daniel worked with John selling lamingtons lol and Dan gave me my first Newsboys CDs :) good times 😅

John James sang lead on Take Me To Your Leader. This was just before he left and Peter Furler took the reins. John James was first. I remember. Yeah they looked a little bit alike with the shaven heads and their singing voices were a bit similar, but there is a big difference in the people. John James testimony is a lot like mine. I put my college education ahead of God and church, thinking that I was studying to do something God wanted me to do. Instead everything fell apart. My relationship with God, my family, then myself. I even turned to pagan spirituality for a long time. Then I committed my biggest sins. John is right. When we don't keep God first, our foundations begin to erode away and were left with nothing.
