If you have a talent or aspire to be more than you feel you can be, take the shot, you very rarely get more than one chance. There were things in my life I wish I had accomplished for the better. You just got to look after number one, not everyone has the backing like Devon had which makes it just that little bit harder, if you’ve got it, go for it, take the plunge

The thing I really like about what he does, is that he has the ability to bring out the happiness in everyone. I'm willing to bet the people he's drawn, still look at their portrait, and beleive they will have an awesome day. It takes very little to smile. And I beleive he help a lot of people find their smile again. Especially after all the shit we've been through.

I’m so proud of this young fellow. I grew up a block away from Brook Avenue. Devon and I graduated from H.S. of Art & Design as well. I’m from the Class of 1980, and a lot of great artists emerged from that school. He is amazing! The next time I visit NYC, I will try to find where his art is showing. Watching him create gives me life!

A national school tour. Too bad most school districts have done away with art classes. Some school systems are reversing the trend and bringing back shop classes and home economics. Whoever brought those back to schools should be the national director of schools.
