It'd be really funny, and fitting, if the crossover ends with a breif cameo to confirm that whoever they cast as Cobra Commander will also voice Starscream.

I think Nightshade is my favorite Terran, either them or twitch. Their designs are so awesome, and I love how they have developed . The fight scenes they have all been in once the story gets intense are incredible.

They should repaint that G1 toy Prime as “Hate plague Repellent alloy” Optimus.

I'm willing to bet that Hook and Long Haul of the Constructicons are sold together as a Commander Class set.

The way I’d make Cobra a threat would be to have them recover all the Decepticon bodies Optimus had seemingly claimed and turn them into Vehicons so they don’t need story time since they are drones. That way the Autobots still get their focus in terms of the robots on screen, since these movies always have some generic drone of some variety

Just my personal speculation on possible future waves for Star Raiders. Deluxes: Axor from either Lockdown OR Crashbar. Depends on which version they want to go for but we don't need any more figures from that Scraphook base mold. Chairman from Perceptor. Eclipse from Tasmanian Kid or Rattrap with Navigator from Iguanus. Both Core class in a deluxe box. A tasmanian devil is close enough to a rabbit without retooling right? Okay, retool it a bit to help pad out that deluxe price point from two core figures. Voyager: Brimstone from Shockwave minus the extra parts. Or as a deluxe from Wingfinger as we haven't had a reuse of that mold yet. Or as another deluxe from Terrorsaur. Thunderlane from Silverbolt. Or as a leader from Tigerhawk. Leader: Star Dasher from Astrotrain. And somehow someone gets either Peacemaker or a standard Battlemaster as Tornado to go with Ferak as a bonus pack in. Hopefully Peacemaker so Ferak can use him as a new "hand" to further the theme of some of them having missing hands. Maybe packed in with Star Dasher instead of having the tender. If they wanted to do more retools all also based on RiD 2015 Alchemior prisoners like Filch then: Scuzzard, Nightstrike or Wingcode from Airazor/Filch. Malodor, Quillfire, Scatterspike, Zorillor, Razorpaw or Scratch from either Skids or Strongarm. Scorponok or Paralon from SS RotB Scorponok. Waspinator from Windblade. Razorgrille from Iguanus. Terrashock, Silverhound or Overhead from Huffer, Trashmaster or Bulkhead. Overload from Tarn. Groundpounder or Simacore from SS Hightower lol. Anyone else really wouldn't work as they're either too beastial in robot mode or have alt modes that don't line up with any we have so far. I'd love a new Crazybolt, Springload or Underbite but they all have quadrupedal robot modes with wheeled alt modes. That's the best I could come up with without going outside the actual Star Seekers or the Alchimor prisoners. Lockdown opens up quite a few other options as he's from neither crew but that's going too far. A new Animated Oil Slick to go with him would be cool but there's no good mold for him at the moment and I wouldn't want to shoehorn him into one of the many motorcycle molds we have that don't fit like they did for Cyberverse Chormia.

Say in case you forgot, so it seems more polite even with tone missing. Plus, Nightshade doesn't share a mold with someone of a different gender. My 10 year old self did not appreciate it in the theater because it was just one more abrupt tonal shift in a movie full of abrupt tonal shifts. My current adult self can appreciate it though.

They would never leave Prime as a supporting character in a crossover movie. The transformers cast is already going to be carrying the movie due to GI Joe's relevance being at its lowest point. Optimus is effectively a necessity in such a small main cast.

Considering the historically low representation of female Transformers and how she was treated in the Bay movies, Arcee should absolutely be a part of the bot cast. Especially since the last movie has three female bots and killed two of them.

Pathfinder's colors comes from the same image that Nacelle comes from. Pathfinder was never intended to resemble her Go-Bots form.

I wasn’t expecting War Robots to do an unintentional Gots reference with the pathfinder robot in the game. We have the robot in-game, and the Go-bot character.

We love Earthspark too, but finding the second series a bit off. Still having difficulty sourcing some of the deluxes and warriors from the first series though...but we'll get there eventually.

I'm still miffed I never got my hands on Lockdown and Filch. If only they weren't exclusives. Earthspark canceled after just two seasons. I see the streaming services didn't learn a damn thing after the strike.

Hoping that the TF One warriors take more examples from the ROTB warriors than the Cyberverse Warriors because from what I messed around with, those cheaper ROTB figures were a big step up from some of what came before

Miss me with that safe series. Pirating TFOne first and foremost; if it rocks my socks off I'll go watch it on the big screen, and if it blows chunks I'm gone 🙏🏃

I hope that they have one of, or both of these at my local theater, so that way I can get my picture with both.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can look at a release date for a movie and then immediately forget it the moment I'm not actively looking at it. I thought it was just cause I have DID and my memory is horrible as a symptom of that. BTW when he says 6 main characters I kind of hope that means no more than 6 per faction not in total. So like 6 Autobots, 6 Decepticons, 6 G.I. Joe, and 6 Cobra. I could see anywhere between 12 to 24 main characters and would still consider that a pretty small cast. But literally 6 only leaves enough room for 1-2 characters per faction. If they do 3 Autobots that's half the cast right there so there's no way he means in total. Also I hope Chis Hemsworth is going to be a Joe and not Optimus Prime again. Don't get me wrong. I don't think Optimus needs to be Peter Cullen's voice. There are a lot of voice actors I would happily accept as replacements for him including Jon Baily. There's also a blind voice actor who got to voice Optimus just for a funny super bowl commercial who'd I'd like to hear in a more serious role cause that commercial just felt out of character and I can seen why they couldn't get Peter Cullen to provide the voice for essentially a parody ad. I'm blanking on the guy's real name I mostly just know him as the Blind Surfer here on KZread. I don't really mind Chris as a Young Orion Pax because G1 Orion Pax was also voiced by a different actor who sounded nothing like Peter Cullen. I actually wished that Animated was called Orion Pax cause the design at least in the Cybertronian mode kind of looks like him and David Kaye's younger take at the character I think would fit better for an Orion Pax than an Optimus Prime. I just expect any Optimus to have a deep commanding heroic tone that I've come to expect from the role. Cyberverse Optimus sounded a little rough in early episodes but even he got there by the end of the series. It would be incredibly jarring to go from hearing Optimus Prime to suddenly hearing Chris Hemsworth. That's what I don't like about celebrity voice actors because real voice actors are chameleons so you don't hear the actor, you hear the character. Celebrities you don't hear the character you only hear the actor... with very few exceptions cause there is some over lap where some celebrities can actually voice act. Leonard Nimoy was unrecognizable as Galvatron in the 86 movie, I'll accept that casting choice.

Earthspark had a lot against it. The marketing, the writing, the time slot it was given on Nick... And probably a few other things that i might not remember off hand. Either way, went into it with caution because of how careless some media handles a franchise... Never was impressed with it like i was with Animated or the old Unicron Trilogy. Shame.

I would like a leader, one out of either Megatron or that one that got repainted into outback.

Something safe? Then maybe my idea of a 3D animated version of the G1 cartoon isn't so far fetched after all.

I might check out American Dream just to see if they'll actually stock some shelves for Transformers lol

I’m also hoping the next show isn’t safe, either. I generally prefer something new than something I’ve already seen. Because if the new show is just another attempt at what previous Transformers shows have already done, then what’s the point of watching the new show when I could just rewatch the things that I already knew worked? Either way, rip to Earthspark.

But what will the guest star in issue #3 look like?

I'm wondering, with the crossover, what do they have planned for the toyline, will we be seeing something like Human Alliance or Alternators again, and given the change in budget, how much would that cost?

The shades of rust and wild colors threw me off so I didn't think about it with the original deluxe Junkions. I'm probably eons late to the party with this, but, now that we're getting a (possibly) darker version of Crashbar, and considering that mold's compatibility with the Junkion truck/car mold, specifically the designated sidecar connections, does anyone else feel an Animated Samurai Prowl in our future?

I don't get everyone's disdain for the flag, especially since cosmos still got an actual weapon as well, it fit the race theme of the line, and I've had fun with mine, occasionally cycling my figures to display like they're mid race, or doing something goofy (like having a bunch of core class figures surfing on a leader's alt mode)

Megatron's personality and voice still doesn't feel right... Even if you swap gladiator for Miner.

Paramount couldn't make a good G.I.Joe film if they slapped a director in the face with a great script! Why would anyone with common sense entertain a crossover...? Hollywood in general has been plummeting. So don't make it seem like people are just being "haters". The reluctance is warranted.

Of course Earth spark, the series brave enough to do something new, got curb stomped before it even finished.

She is, both in the original Go-Bots and in Transformers continuity.

Also apparently according to Jtprime17 on TFW2005 regarding the new TF show coming after Earthspark… “I will say the new show does have an interesting cast so far for the deceptions. Haven't seen anything toy wise for the usual go to traditional cast for them. No Starscream, Soundwave or even Megatron yet. I don't want to spoil anything major, so I'll just leave it at that.” So we might get something interesting in this new TF show. Me personally I’m betting on either Bludgeon or Shockwave (mostly Blugdeon) as being the main antagonist since we aren’t getting Megatron apparently. At least, I hope so.

“I’m TJ Freaking Omega” Darn right you are. Also agree with your thoughts on the TF/Joe movie. Hensworth would be a good Duke, but if he is continuing his VO work as Optimus, I understand and would be ok with that. Peter Cullen is a legend, but he deserves to rest. He’s given us so much over the years.

I'd take a safe show over Earthspark. I never liked it. Even when we got the teasers, I was skeptical, and my concerns were true.

It's new and I like it. But sadly it was failed. Should've been somewhere it would get more exposure. As it stands almost no one knows except the actual fans. It's got echoes of Animated but it actually makes the human element IMPORTANT. They put the family first, in a way that makes sense. AND, more Prime lore! Quintus hasn't been explored yet, so this is great to put something to his name. While I admit, probably not your style, it's at least got an interesting concept. Can we agree on that last point?
