Man so many of these I reconize I will never forget where I was the day Michael Jackson died I was 10 years old and getting my hair cut when the news broke I was stunned could not believe what I was hearing For Robin Williams I remember my mother telling me he was dead I said omg that's terrible did he have a heart attack or a stroke? When she said he took his own life I didn't believe her cause like Robin Williams taking his own life that's just impossible but a quick Google and the worst was confirmed now Cameron Boyce I know I only saw him in Hey Jesse but his death really hit hard cause he was younger then me and he's dead now really made me think about mortality ah dude and Kobe one day just watching KZread my sister runs in telling me Kobe died in a helicopter crash man terrible days

Robin Williams is still the saddest for me. He’s just got so many iconic movies. I remember when I was a kid my Grandma had a Jumanji VHS and I would watch that thing so many times. The new movies just aren’t the same.

I remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard of Kobe Bryant's death. I was laying on my couch at around 10 : 00 and was anticipating the Royal Rumble that day, so I clicked on a new promo video about the event and looked at the comments. When I saw "R.I.P. Kobe" all over, I thought it was maybe a leaked surprise match with Kobe facing the Undertaker and I thought nothing of it until the event. When I saw the message during the start of the show, I was devastated, signs all across the stadium showed respect and admiration for the man that was lost that morning. I'm certain that everyone watching around the world that night and even those performing knew that it would never be the same, but kept going to honor the fallen legend. Rest in peace, Kobe.

I'll be honest, the one that got me the most when it happened was Robin Williams. It just wrecked me. I grew up with him. I must have watched Jumanji 100 times. That was my favorite movie growing up, and it still is to this day. I was only a kid when he passed. When I found out that he killed himself, I always thought: "How can someone so funny and joyful on the outside be so sad and depressed on the inside?" (I was 8, I didn't understand feelings too well.) And as I grew a bit older, I slowly realized that the funniest people are usually the saddest on the inside. My theory as to why is that they are giving all of the happiness to others, through the act of comedy. Making others feel better, but themselves feel worse. It's terrible. Rest in peace, Robin. You were a legend. I hope you're making as many people laugh up there as you did down here.

If you aren't aware, the biggest reason of Williams' death it was revealed that he was also suffering from Body Lewy Dementia according to his autopsy.

I remember watching the NFL pro bowl, when I heard of Kobe, I couldn't believe what I heard and I just sat back in shock, I couldn't say anything, I didn't even know what to say. It was heartbreaking

Same, I still remember how I found out about his death. I woke up and my mom called me to her room, I sat on her bed and she told me "The kid from Jessie died" I was like "Which one? " and she said "the one with the freckles". I've never liked to cry in front of people , so I just said "oh", walked out of the room, went to the bathroom, cried, composed myself and went on with my day. I cried in the night and the week after that.

It’s almost 7 years without Robin and my heart can’t take it

One person that should've been included was Muhammad Ali, his death wasn't as dramatical or shocking since it was a relative natural death but this man is still a legend

Steve’s death hit me the most, as an Aussie, I really loved how he lived his life, surrounded by animals. And then I finally heard he died by an animal. It hit me the hardest *also the tops I also cried abt were:* Micheal J M King Jr Stan Lee Cameron B Freddie M Amy W Robin W Elvis P Albert E Richard H (Old Man) Avicii Kobe and Gigi B (I’m not an American but Ik Gigi didn’t deserve her death 4 sure, dunno anything abt Kobe other than he was a basketball player and the father of Gigi, another basketball player)

Steve Irwin’s death never fails to make me cry, and I don’t cry often. Never seen another guy like him. His positivity was unmatched, and his energy was on another level. Never will I ever forget the man he was.

I’ve never really like basketball let alone Kobe Bryant. I was at the pro bowl when his death was announced and it hit me so hard even though I haven’t watched him much. I remembered the times I did watch him he was dominating the court. And then the fact his daughter was in the crash too, I can’t imagine the sorrow, fear, and pain they felt.

Watching the passing of so many legends was really heart wrenching. May you Rest In Peace.

Honestly all of these hard on the emotional scale, definitely almost cried at Stan Lee's and Kobe's deaths when they were first reported and even now I shed a couple tears especially at Stan's passing. May all of these celebrities rest in peace and will never be forgotten. ❤

To me the saddest by far is Kurt Cobain's suicide, he was battling a stomach condition, was going in and out of rehab for his heroin addiction, had a very young daughter, a wife although could've been getting divorced, but to have all that happening in your life and the only way you see making it any better is to shoot up one last time and commit suicide it's so heartbreaking...

I remember the morning of Stan Lee’s death, my family and I were leaving to go on a hike, and in the car my brother told me Stan Lee died. I got multiple texts from multiple friends, and the entire day I was processing the news. RIP Stan Lee

I know he’s not in here but when Tom Petty passed, I remember where I was. I was so stunned. He was one of my favorite singers RIP KING

I feel so sad for all who were loss, but Aviciis death hits me hard. I grew up with his music. “Hey Brother”, “The Nights”, “Addicted To You”, “Waiting For Love”, “Without You”, and of course “Wake Me Up”. These songs have gotten me through so much. I’ve grown up with these songs and they’re poetic lyrics are very dear to my heart. Still hurts like hell.

Cameron Boyce is the one that hit me the most, He was one of my celebrity crushes I used to love watching him on Jessie and decedents. I know I didn’t know him personally but he seemed like a genuinely sweet guy who loved everyone. He should still be here! He was taken from us way too young. RIP sweet Cameron you are greatly missed. 😞😢❤️

I cried when Robin Williams, Stan Lee, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Walker, Avicii, Freddie Mercury, And everyone from the Harry Potter movies, old man, Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, prince Philip, Cameron Boyce, Steve Irwin, Martin Luther King Jr, Kobe Bryant. We have lost to many people that we expire in love so much of their talents. 😭😭

Robin Williams was my childhood hero. He was (and still is) my favorite actor. Hearing that he died was like losing a family member. Still heartbreaking that he’s gone, and even more heartbreaking is how he died too

Trust me, Same with me with both Robin Williams and Kirby Morrow (who passed away back in November of 2020 from substance abuse who was known as Cole from lego ninjago) since both actors were amazing and it’s really unfortunate that they both passed away! :(

I still remember when Robin Williams died. I just remember I broke that day. And Steve Irwin. I remember watching Bindis eulogy and just sobbing though it.

I haven’t cried in 2 years and I fucking bawled when Steve Irwin’s report came up

I was at Outback Steakhouse for my sisters 17th birthday when I saw on the tv that Kobe had died. We all strayed crying because we are huge Lakers fans. We still mourn the loss almost 2 years later

@Kimberly Keiper sorry I didn’t specify, I wasn’t at an outback steakhouse, I was buying some groceries and I got a notification. Most of my family and I are huge Lakers fans so this was a very devastating loss for us. Some of my family members even named their dogs after famous Lakers athletes, and one of them was given the name Kobe and another Magic but you get the point. Also that’s a terrible way to learn when it’s a family member‘s birthday and they’re out trying to celebrate. 😔

I remember being in school at a band concert when Kobe died. Everybody was kinda in shock when the word started to spread around. I remember looking at my phone thinking “oh this is fake for sure” as only one news source had reported on it and kind of dismissed it. You never realize how valuable life is before seeing stuff like this

They found out he had Lewey Body Dementia, which is a horrific degenerative brain disease. It can cause hallucinations. Just so tragic..

The first celebrity I have the the memory of seeing being reported dead on TV was Michael Jackson when I was 7, there were definitely other people who I saw their deaths being covered on TV that I just don't remember, Michael Jackson's just stuck with me

I remember learning that Stan Lee died. I have always loved Marvel and while it didn’t come as a shock it was still sad. I also remember hearing that Kobe died while at my high school’s pool. The next day (a Monday) consisted of a health class dedicated to the event, and no one could stop talking about it

Stan Lee hits me the hardest, I grew up with Marvel, not just the movies but I heard his voice countless times when playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes

Robin Williams hit me like a ton of bricks. As soon as I saw the “you’re free genie” tribute art I absolutely lost it. I was crying at work and almost went home.

Robin Williams - I was at home with my family watching the news. A few weeks later, Aladdin was showing on Disney Channel in remembrance of him. Prince - I came home from work and heard about the news on Tumblr. MTV was showing his music videos and Purple Rain. Avicii - I was at work on my lunch break when I found out he died. Levels and Wake Me Up played in my head. Kobe Bryant - I was at the mall eating lunch and I found out on Instagram that he and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash. Whitney Houston - I came home from the public library on a Saturday afternoon and my older sister called me down just to see the news on TV. MTV Hits were playing her music videos nonstop. Michael Jackson - I came home early by a yellow school bus because I had summer school. I remember eating lunch and taking a shower after swimming for P.E. class. CNN broke the news and I was glued to the TV on the same day Farrah Fawcett died of cancer. When the live memorial service came on a couple of weeks later, I missed it because I was at school but when I came home I had to watch it on MySpace. I put the Invincible album and his Number Ones on my iPod nano to listen to on long car rides and back. Chester Bennington - I found out on social media that he died at the same time OJ Simpson was set free from prison. I started to listen to Linkin Park on my phone to remember him. Numb is one of my favorites including the remix with Jay Z.

It’s sad cuz u see all these legends die but then you think of all the legends that are still alive and you know there time will come

I got off my bus and went inside. My parents were watching the news. My parents told me that Stan lee died. My heart stopped. I was obsessed with marvel at the time so it made me sad af. Skip a year or two, I’m in the living room watching tv. My sister calls me, I go to her room and she told me that the actor of black panther died. I went in my room and cried. Rip both of them

Its crazy how none of us can prevent death and its one of the main things you'll have in common with anyone or anything whether it be a celebrity or someone walking down the street, birds in the trees, fish in the ocean. We all will perish and I think its something that should be resembled as the beautiful finish of ones own story. We dont know what comes next and we shouldnt be scared either.

I'll tell my babies about the singers who that their grandparents and parents listened to.

I remember when Micheal died, my mom would make me listen to him and me and my sister were always such fans. I think I was in the 3rd grade . I was on my moms bed when we heard the news. Complete shock and bawling our eyes out. Robin Williams was super sad, and Cameron Boyce was just so hard to accept.

Robin Williams, Paul Walker, Stan Lee, and Chadwick Boseman are all the saddest for me.
