Open and practical, the house’s interior design was in part inspired by the pandemic’s lockdown. Things are kept flexible with fewer walls and standalone furniture rather than built-ins in case needs change, while a well-equipped home gym sits at the original yard. Thanks to the generous amount of windows and a light neutral palette warmed up with wood tones, the home feels airy and inviting. It is most evident in the kitchen, which was expanded to include an island. A glass panel divides this cooking/working/entertaining zone from the laundry room, generating a modern feel while also letting in lots of light.
