@@ruefallsScott was trying to cover that he IMPLIED they slept together. He wasn’t covering that they actually slept together. They have always said they weren’t in a sexual/romantic relationship. They’ve told stories of how they would sleep next to each other in car rides/bus rides. They were partners for a long time and have been on many trips together. There’s a lot of travel and waiting for competitions so I’m sure they slept around each other many times.

tessa sounded and looked genuinely sorry for not believing that scott had a phobia of mascots

They’ve being ice-skating and competing together since they were kids - it’s not at all strange that they would have slept in the same room on multiple occasions. But the way he says it, her reaction to him saying it, and him adding “I read” (instantly making everything 100 times worse) is so incredibly satisfying and iconic.

The "Am I right. Of course I am right" and the expression on his face when he said it. So cute, I am dead.

between "sometimes you're just so restless........ I READ." and knowing her fave kind of chocolate and adding the "you wanna sit down to a real, romantic dinner with me: poached eggs" (like Scott who said anything about romantic?), this interview has like NO CHILL. Like, UM, he pretends like he has to think about her birthday but be real, it's probably his password to everything.

Shakeema Edwards Unfortunately the current Olympics are their last. They had actually already retired from competition a few years ago, then decided to come back especially for PyeongChang, in hopes of winning gold. And although I know they're not together, I can't help shipping them and hoping they WILL come together someday. They're just such a gorgeous couple, and seem to have such a beautiful, unique connection and chemistry.

He does not want to make them a thing- he makes it very clear always in his comments - adding “I’ve read” is like he’s saying sure as partners we’ve shared quarters but not in that way- so what’s the quickest way to get out of giving rumors to the rumor patrol- I know “ I’ve read that” lol but she looked like she liked giving the idea off like there’s more there- lol

sophie craig Here in Quebec we say "eh" (it's written "eille") but it's not the same meaning as "eh". Eille means more "hey!! what are you doing??" 😂 Also my English teacher says eh sometimes

Lots of adorable moments in this, of course, but their laugh at Scott's statement at 0:47 (writing with one hand) always makes me smile.

I love them Together. Everything in them screams Love. They look perfect together and it was so sad that theyre not even a couple.

We know they've slept on planes and in cars before, so he could have just said that...so it's a bit suspicious! Also, I just want to believe this connection and all The hard work they've put into their relationship had lead to a romantic partnership.

+Alanna Gallo I think the ''I've read'' was just his funny way of saying ''no we're not together like that'' because he knew what everyone would immediately think. I don't get why people want them to be in a regular boring sexual relationship. Their partnersip is so much more unique and special than that. And that's exactly what they've always said and they have no reason to lie.

They act like BFFs! When they're on the ice, they are acting. Acting is a part of ice dancing that is actually very important, because it's where the chemistry comes from. Now, these two take it to a whole different level... Sometimes when I watch them perform I feel the need to look away, or fan myself, because it's like I'm being allowed to see something that I shouldn't have been allowed to see. Their chemistry on the ice is completely otherworldly. They make it look soooo scandalous, that it's no wonder everyone thinks they're in love. haha

I’m seriously beginning to doubt their “secret love” myself. Not that I wouldn’t be happy if it WERE true. But, here’s the thing. When they’re on the ice, what we see really IS an act. They are playing up the sexy seduction act to the hilt. It’s what they do. They KNOW it makes people love to watch them. Their act attracts fans. Now, compare/contrast Tessa & Scott on the ice (all sexy and steamy and hot) with Katia Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov (the TOP Russian pairs skating team from back in the late 80’s and early to mid 90’s - they won Gold at the Olympics both times they competed, in 1988 (Katia was only 16 and Sergei was 20) and again in 1994 (they were married with a baby daughter by then). Now, here’s the thing. They skated together from the time they were kids, just like Tessa and Scott. But they actually DID fall in love (right after their first Olympics in 1988 when they won Gold) and dated and still skated together and eventually married and still skated together and had a baby together and still skated together....and when you watched them skate together when they were a real couple, you could just FEEL their love. You could see their love....in the way they gazed into each other’s eyes when they performed, how they smiled at each other, the way Sergei so gently lifted Katia overhead and held her and softly caressed her shoulders and kissed her hand after their programs and always held her so close.... They weren’t all steamy and sexy hot while out on the ice.....but it was so obviously pure love. As if both of their hearts were beating as one. Their love was sooooo obvious in all the programs they skated after they fell in love. They didn’t try hard to sell it. It just existed for all of us to witness and behold. So, with that said, I can’t help but think that just MAYBE Tessa and Scott are just playing roles here..??? I just don’t feel the love that was so obvious when watching G & G perform back in the day. Watch G & G’s 1994 Olympic program - Moonlight Sonata. Watch how tender Sergei is with Katia. And that program doesn’t even compare, doesn’t even come close to the love they exude in several of their World and Nationals and professional programs - like “The Man I Love” (my absolute all-time favorite program of theirs) and the Porgy & Bess number. Hey, I’d be just as happy as the next girl to see Tessa & Scott ultimately become a REAL couple....but as of right now, I don’t think they’ve quite explored that avenue yet. Their actions on the ice are just that - an act to satisfy the audience and the judges. An excellent act, for sure. But still just an act. Take that for whatever it’s worth. It’s only my honest opinion....nothing more!

Even though it’s possible that these two genuinely don’t see each other that way, like if the romantic connection isn’t there it isn’t there, I will feel bad for their future counterparts.. but if IT IS there for them.. I will be so disappointed I won’t get to see their love story unfold like a movie

This is weird. They say its not romantic and never will be, but they agree to tv shows that literally imply romance. Also, all the other tv shows they agree to be on together where they know it’s all about the hype of their potential “romance” is weird too. I normally would say “lay off everyone!” But they seem to be fueling to fire too. Maybe it’s for more spotlight opportunity and $$$. But I find it contradictory.
