Newly appointed Sports Minister, Gayton McKenzie, has hit the ground running -- literally and figuratively.
Mckenzie started jogging just days after his appointment and aims to run his first marathon in a month's time.
He has promised to address wasteful expenditure, to clean up his department and make sport of national interest accessible to all.
And he's done all of this on X.

Gayton continues to prove he is a changed man from his criminal roots. I’m sure he still has a few connections from that world but the way he is conducting himself has been patriotic and a breath of fresh air. It’s why he got one of my votes in the first place. Keep it up Gayton we support the changes!

Congatulations on your appointment as Minister of Sport but must say just very dissapointed that you are not Min of Health as I was wondering about all the poison gasses once you allow spinning of cars as a way of uplifting youngsters in low income communities.
