newjeans in the 3rd ep 'getup' use clubland styles that are very niche.. especially in kpop.. uk garage is the base sound that is not really known in the rest of the world.. thats their base sound and they incorporate other similar uk sounds like drum and bass and american club niche sounds like jersey club and miami bass... it makes them very different.. (thir first ep was 90s rnb so it wasnt new to kpop but just a sound that hasnt been around prominently since 2ndgen) it makes them insanely unique... the only people reacting to them and recognising the uk garage are fellow brits for example... americans are totally confused sorry lol... i duno if you remember craig david.. or artful dodger .. they had some success in america early 2000s but thats the same genre.... Youreally should watch NEWJEANS - 'newjeans' pure uk garage and 'cool with you' side a AND side b because its a 2 part story and also pure uk garage lol.. and also a heavy drama mv
