Musically this was a reminscent of 80's, not 90's. The Electro synths, and Disco beats, for instance. But the Styling and concept itself is more 90's.

its actually 90s miami bass... which was very prominent mid to late 90s.. it may have started late 80s but its most popular point was def mid 90s.. probably the most famous 'miami bass' tune was 'ghost town djs - my boo' it was very popular globally and it came out in 1996.. go watch the video if you havent heard it already.. you'll instantly notice the similarty to this newjeans song
