being a fan of kpop for 10+ years you can tell the difference in little movements. Hanni & Haerin are one of many idols that actually can move their body smoothly with flow. Especially Hanni. She’s very precise. she was a born dancer. Love her, love the acknowledgement.

I literally decided to become a bunny after watching their performance videos, what specifically peaked the most interest in me was Hanni's hypeboy fancam, their first debut performance but she danced like a veteran with 5 yrs experience. Only a blind hater would deny how good hanni is at dancing. She's got such solid, confident style as a dancer since debut and has been equally good in dancing as her singing.

hanni has always been their best dancer, one of the best in 4th gen female idols if i may 🤭 but ALL newjeans members are ALL such good dancers theyre rly different from every other group dances!

Hanni's movements are so smooth and hits the beat🔥🔥🔥

​@@SantaTakke-hu7wy I think she does fit the beauty standards, a lot of Koreans praise her visuals, comparing her to idols and actresses like shin minah, Sulli, lim Bora etc... The thing is you won't hear outside of newjeans fandom about their visuals only bunnies praise the five girls visuals most of the time, because Ador as a company is not like other companies pushing someone to be a visual member in the media like other groups have, they have trained and cultivated all members talents and skills enough that they don't need a visual title to stand out. Visual title should be buried, because it's so shallow, ridiculous if you think about it. Everyone has their own kind of beauty, what matters should be someone talent and charm, like what is a visuals talent? Being able to afford more surgeries and taking risk reconstructing their features with help of doctors? Is that supposed to be a talent for singers?

@@Niki-dt4tr main dancer is the person that dances the best and is quick in learning choreographies. Lead dancers are ones who are more skilled than other members but not above the one who dances better than them. Ofc every dancer has different techniques and skills but it comes down to who is better overall. This applies to main and lead rappers/vocalists too. Hope this helps!

I was also a dancer in the Philippines (I no longer pursue a dancing career). In the challenges "The Boy Is Mine" and "Newjeans is everywhere", the way Hanni controlled her body movements according to her will was excellent and made a very strong impression on me ( and Ariana Grande too ). The second person I was impressed with was Hyein, Hyein's groove is very good, the only drawback is that sometimes she performs dance movements too vigorously so it can easily cause injury, this is a big no-no for a dancer, however Hyein is very young and there is still a long way to go for Hyein to perfect her skills.

Hanni is more of a main dancer and dani is an excellent performer,minji is too underrated in dancing she dances so well,she and haerin can be lead dancers.

If there’s a position for main dancer I think it should go to both hanni and Haerin they compliment each other so well, with hanni riding on the beat style of dancing and haerins hitting the beat style they just go so well together so seeing no mention of her at all in this video and the supershy one is kinda crazy… she’s a very clean dancer who dances like she’s been street dancing for 25 years. I’d like to know the criteria in which both danni and hanni get chosen for Everytime, is it stage presence? Cuz minji should totally get some acknowledgment this era!!

@@bgirl2024 I think Minji’s power and energy this era keeps up with both hanni and Dani, just like dani and hanni add their own flare minji adds her own flare as well and you can tell that by watching her fancams she’s simply a delight to watch! +the concept of new jeans is that each girl’s style differentiates them from each other like hanni’s bounciness, haerins technical skills, Dani’s girlified style, minjis fresh approach, and hyein’s diva like style… so in a sense all of them are captivating on their own way, it’s up for the viewer to choose which style they like best

She’s the main dancer of the group. People still have yet to understand that. I love Danielle and Hanni but Haerin is the better dancer. They all dance differently and attract people not only bc of their moves but also bc of their presence. Haerin doesn’t have that presence like Hanni and Danielle but has better moves.

Looove Hanni but overall love how yall pointed out this fresh, loose era for the girls. It’s sooo fun and I always smile watching them. They’re so nostalgic to us 90s kids and yet also, so new!! I think because they blend old hip hop sounds, fashion, and moves with current k pop cuteness, and their personalities and youthfulness.

I think haerin gets over looked a lot because her stage presence isn’t as good as hanni or danielle but i’d put her above dani for street dance and keep hanni as the main dancer, hyein is very good too but honestly they’re all so good, I was shocked with this comeback. Minji stood out a lot also.

Yea I also expected they would mention haerin somewhere especially in how sweet. Cuz Danielle did stand out in bubblegum, with her bubbliness but haerin also shines a lot in her parts in how Sweet. But to be fair, these dancers aren't seeing this from a bunnies perspective. They just didn't realise it's a little offensive/weird to us bunnies if all five of the girls are not mentioned equally. But also dancing can be evaluated technically but thing with dancing is it's also a lot of our personal preferences, the qualities that we admire in a dancer. They probably want to imbibe more of hanni Dani dancing style so they gravitate towards their dancing. All newjeans members are great at dancing, it's just a matter of preference at the end of the day i think

i understand that haerin’s not the best dancer overall but absolutely no mention of her the whole video is crazy…, how sweet is definitely hanni’s era though, she’s insane.

I thought they would acknowledge haerin somewhere... I honestly think I now know the reason why Haerin's style of dancing doesn't stand out to them in these particular videos. The other two, Hani Dani are really good at not just executing the moves but also improvising as dancers in stage performances, basically they have more effortless stage presence. The choreo of bubble gum especially has the kind of freestyle concept where it highlights those two quirks more. Haerin is a very efficient dancer who is more likely to stick to the rules of the book when it comes to dancing, her charm isn't the most evident in that choreo. In how sweet though she slays her parts and looking much more confident while performing, i think Newjeans members as dancers are all very great, it comes down to personal preferences in that sense. People who appreciate Hanni's expressive, playful and charismatic energy onstage might overlook Haerin's clean, effortless and understated style and the opposite is also true where people who prefer Haerin style might not understand why people praise hanni's dancing. They are opposite in that sense... But I'm so glad that newjeans has such diverse performers. Hanni just gets appreciated by dancers because I guess they value those qualities in dancing, be it her expressiveness, powerful groove, strong individual style. Also i think in the kpop idol industry we have seen dancers with Haerin style before especially 3rd gen had lot of focus on having clean angles, efficiency, when it comes to executing choreos. I remember a lot of members from group like Loona have that clean, efficient style. We are used to seeing such efficient style of dancing that's why automatically associate it with how idol dancing is preferred before. Nowadays though there's slowly more emphasis on individualistic style, spontaneous and freestyle vibe and less emphasis on synchronised clean angles but lot more freedom in choreo to improvise , break rules more so about having fun and feel, thats more evident in Hanni's style of dancing, especially newjeans choreographers are the torch bearers of bringing that freestyle hip hop vibe.

@@someoneidc12345 I think i have watched enough fancams of all five since debut, so just for the sake of ranking them I would say, Hanni > Haerin > Minji > Danielle > Hyein It's not as clear as I rank them to be fair, because ultimately certain choreos highlight certain members strengths more sometimes. This ranking is just based on what they have proved consistently as dancers throughout the different choreos they have done.

I think new jeans is homage to New Edition. Theres so many similarities besides the name. The songs “cool w/ you” & “cool it now” “bubblegum” “candy girl”. The supernatural song choreography is def that era & dance style. I think whoever thought of the new jeans concept was def a new edition fan at the very least.

Fresh is the key word when it comes to newjeans why because everything they do feels natural and organic and that’s rare in kpop and this is why they are so unique and great

why do yall always specifically bring up improvement when Danielle gets pointed out as a potential main dancer when everyone in the group can work on their technique dani actually has great body control and balance because she has an excellent sense of posture even in this video the dancers state how when her and hanni dance they never look awkward. Newjeans has done enough choreo to notice that they do not stick to only hip-hop which is where haerin and hanni really shines but when they do different styles you get the strengths of other members like Supershy ...Dani was made the center because their performance director said her lines and placements really brings out the best in the dance even when dani does hip choreo her style makes it very fun to watch its somewhat girlified but still strong without any excess movement at the end of the video the girls state how they will give the main dancer title for bubble gum to Danielle because depending on the dance one girl can stand out more than the other dancing is very subjective until it comes to newjeans fans who only believe 2 girls deserve the title of main dancer

@@fifieatspearls its weird to start your reasoning with 'these main dancers choose her therefore' and ending it with 'dance is subjective'. Newjeans doesn't have a main dancer for a reason...which is to give each girl her time to shine, and making her the center in supershy made total sense since she's the member with the longest limbs which suited the choreo and she completely ate up the center parts with her bubbly style, same goes for bubble gum even tho she doesn't have as much center time she was completely captivating. You should know by now that these 'professional dancers' aren't critically analyzing the performances and are just reacting at the dance at face value, and looking at it from that angle makes hanni and danielle stand out a lot since their stage presence eats, but if you look at it from a technical dancing and analyzing aspect haerin and hanni take the cake, but you should know that saying this does not discredit dani at all, put her in any other girlgroup and she'd be main dancer in a blink of an eye, but in new jeans she's surrounded with great dancers and performers, the group primarily focuses on hiphop/r&b this comeback so she isn't in center much, but for choreos like right now they gave her ample center time. don't take it the wrong way but hani&haerin skill set is a bit higher than danielle, which doesn't mean that both hani&haerin dont need improvement, they most certainly do, but at this point in time their skill set is higher, and they all have room for improvement.

I’m a Haerin bias & let’s be soo fr rn. Haerin shines with hip hop & footwork & Ik she loves being known as the main dancer but we all know deep down that isn’t true. Hanni pulls off all dance styles. I was watching Haerin dance Armageddon the other day & minji out danced her. It’s clear that Armageddon is a choreography that suits minji whereas for Haerin she fell kinda short. What I’m saying is hanni executes multiple dance styles well while Haerin shines in a few. So compared to hanni, yk 🤷🏻‍♀️

Whereas haerin's movements were soft. This doesn't mean she's "a bad dancer" she just didn't execute it as well as minji & æspa members which did a powerful & sharp approach which shined with that style of choreo.
