I just wanted to correct one comment. NewJeans's gender demographic when it comes to album sales & music consumption, women make up 72% which is the MOST among any other female group ever in K-pop. So that comment from that person was odd knowing NewJeans is the group with a female dominated fanbase.

what I find weird is how people are saying they can't listen to them because of their age, like how does it make it weird? so many groups have debuted when some of the members were young as well but nwjns is the most criticized one and this stupid shit gets brought up on a constant basis; when txt debuted, the age range was 19-16 | nct dream 17-14 | shinee 18-14 | astro 19-15 | svt 18-16 | got7 20-16 | stayc 19-15 | ive 19-14 | enhypen 19-14 | p1h 19-14 and yet people listened to those groups from debut and on, so how does this make newjeans any different? if you are someone that has to worry about how to not be inappropriate towards and about minors whilst you're not one, then I think that says more about you than you'd want it to

I’m saying. It’s been 4-5 months into their debut, and people still won’t shut up about it. Like, I get it, but you should’ve been putting that energy into your faves. And the fact they be bringing it up randomly. It’s so annoying.

I just wanna add, from the chat talking about their age and not being able to listen to them.. how many felt this way when NCT Dream debuted? They were 14-17 years old.. idk if anyone was grossed out or worried, they were just as young as Newjeans members. And it shouldn’t be THAT much of a difference just cuz they’re males and Newjeans are females. Anyways, I haven’t fully gotten into their personalities yet, so this was fun to watch! I’m excited about their comeback, their debut was a whole ass vibe so I’m interested in what they’ll bring this time.

NewJeans age range is the same as NMIXX, IVE, Itzy, Classy, BTS, Enhypen, Stray Kids, Shinee, etc for their maknaes at debut. Plus there's an actual survey about the demographics of album sales and IVE, Le Sserafim, NMIXX, StayC, all have a higher proportion of male fans than NewJeans though they all have maknaes at the same age range of NewJeans (13 to 15). Ok I don't want to be that person cause ew...but my biggest concern along with their ages, is if they've had surgical procedures because I'm noticing some things like the double eyelids, the jaw, the nose, the lips...they could all just be beautiful but idk Edit: The delusion in this comment section is crazy, yall say this about every idol when someone says they have had work done...im gonna assume the whole industry is natural then...most of yall saying this are international fans and not koreans...by the age of 18 or younger most koreans (especially women) have had some form of plastic surgery, its so bad that most koreans dont considered double eyelid and nose jobs a actual surgery, minors are given surgery as gifts....its very obvious that a few of these idols have had work done, OBVIOUSLY the whole industry hasnt had work done, but its a common thing offered by kpop companies
