They're talking about the CD/Album they prepared for fans. That's why we see one in the video. People are the ones badly misinterpretating it.

Thank you for commenting. When I was reading the lyrics, I wasn’t getting the inappropriate lyrics till I was reading the comments. Maybe I was wrong and wasn’t reading the lyrics correctly because they were pointing out certain lyrics, words, and their age. I’m not gonna lie, I’m still a bit confused because of people had said about the MV since I uploaded my reaction. This is why I wanted to hear from everyone and your opinions.

Sorry, but that’s just what they claim is the reasoning because the word for CD in Korean is similar to cookie. However the songwriter is from Brooklyn and speaks English, and anyone who speaks English and writes those words with that song tone, it can absolutely only be interpreted in one way. Newjeans company ADOR should have never given these lyrics to them.

@@AnimeIntroStyles4 i was about to say the same.. anyone defending this is just a stan who cannot take a bad word for newjeans.. im sorry im a massive fan of newjeans i mean massive and i love them... but this was low point.. im so glad that everything after this was appropriate and not like this.. i like to to try and forget this song is even in their discography... also their manager is known for having an 'inappropriate' liking of underage girls.. look it up its well documented and factual... i love newjeans they ar my fave group ever since 2nd gen t-ara but i dont 'stan' them and blindly love everything they do (or anyone else) .. i will call them out on stuff.. i actually dont stan anyone its a horrible word that suggests you love everything they do.. thats wrong and stupid lol.. also im no prude btw... if they were all in their 20s singing this i would have no problem... hell even if they were all over 18 i might have raised an eyebrow but wouldnt be offended by it

yes.. i thought they were ALL too young for this but my main problem was hyein being 15!!!!! even if she was 17 like haerin i would still have questions and think its wrong but hyein being 15 is my real disgust with this..

Or look it like this. The lyrics are Korean. So no one in korea is taking it sexually. As depicted by the symbolism, so it's the meaning. But, definitely, it's smart as in the west it doubles as a diff meaning to cater to the lyrics in the west. One meaning in East ... Another, in the West.
