@@MustDoCanada It is certainly rare to find anyone from outside the Atlantic provinces who has heard of SPM. Even most people in Quebec have no idea that there is a part of France just off the coast of Newfoundland. I remember once telling an acquaintance of mine from Montreal about these islands, and he was convinced that I was pulling his leg. Nice video, I was just in St Pierre too and had better weather, didn't goto Miquelon though. I wanted to rent a bike but there is only one place and the guy just decided not to open up. Ile aux Marins was my favourite and worth all the legwork to get to St Pierre. I have a video series on my channel too. I flew out to Halifax and have aerial views of Miquelon.

Just found your channel while researching St. Pierre Dories. Loved this video and subbed. I live along the coast of Maine, within a few minutes drive of the US/Canadian border (Campobello Island). My family (both sides) are from Canada (Nova Scotia and PEI) and still have relatives there. I've been planning a trip in my sailboat to St. Pierre (perhaps in 2021 or whenever this Covid thing is behind us). I've been to Newfoundland many times but never to St. Pierre et Miquelon. My French isn't very good though. The last time I was in Paris, they asked me to please stop trying to speak French because they spoke English and I was "ruining their beautiful language!"😁
