NEWFOUNDLAND'S GIGANTIC SINKHOLE, POV IN THE WINTER, YOU'VE NEVER SEEN ICE FALLS LIKE THIS BEFORE

NEWFOUNDLAND'S GIGANTIC LOMOND SINKHOLE, POV FROM THE BOTTOM IN THE WINTER, is a view you probably haven't seen in any other videos. The decent into the hole is treacherous, but worth it in everyway. The towering ice formations and the thousand year old rocks make the Lomond sinkhole a place everyone should add to their winter to do list.
We were amazed how everywhere we looked there was something different to photograph.

Lived in the area and visited it often. Looks the same and I remember it being a task getting out. Great shots!

That’s incredible! Much bigger than it looks from the top. When you were down inside it looks massive. Should have read the sign describing the sinkhole, geological formation information on it?

me to . maybe I'll have a look in the summer time. It runs to the ocean I believe. A co worker has pictures of a huge dead eel in the sink hole. looks like a salt water one to me

also search for under ground salmon hole in Newfoundland. It's also super cool. It's a different river. it's head waters come out of the ground and that's where the salmon spawn
