Don’t underestimate the practicality of a cheap plastic changing mat lol. They’re water proof, light weight and can be fully sanitized easily after every use. I use to use mine for travel and to leave downstairs through the day.
The baby bath is amazing I got the same one 5 years ago with my 1st born and I used it for all 3 of my children. I remember my having a break down to health visitor over scratch mitts🙈 because they just used to fall off constantly, she told me to use his socks. Literally a game changer. Your so prepared now your going to be a brilliant mum and baby boy so lucky to have you🥰💙
Waited to use monitor till baby was in the cot. We didn't use a sleepy head, he slept in his moses basket. Swaddles were a life saver and helped our baby sleep through the night. Sleep bags are really great! Love your videos, can't wait to meet him xx
I still can't believe your pregnant tbh I'm an OG watched you from day 1 I'm so happy for you baby boy is so blessed to have you and Jamie as parents hes going to have the best life ❤ congratulations to you both and all the best for when you go into Labour hope all goes well xxxx
The baby lamp is great. You can see what you're doing without the baby being fully awake. I used to have plug in night lights along the landing and that helps too. You're looking lovely Gemma. You suit pregnancy.
I get so giddy watching you talk about your baby 🤗 you're going to be an amazing mother I can tell 💛
I was sitting with my coffee watching your last year videos when I see that you uploaded a new video. It instantly lifted my mood. Thank you!))) love you so much))
I’m just so happy for you!! This baby will be so loved and that’s all that matters!
Watching this even though it’s my second pregnancy because I completely forget what to get & feeling overwhelmed!! Thank you for this💛💛💛
I really enjoyed baby gowns (added socks to feet) when my kids were first born because they are so much easier to change diapers and keep the legs warm. I have taken care of thousands of babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit over 18 years. I agree that first aid and infant CPR are important. Also, a breast feeding class and Lamaze classes are really great.
Mumma of two boys here so know very well about the fountain of wee 😂 A big tip I got was when changing them to undo the front the nappy then put it back on and put tabs back on for a few more seconds! They normally do wees once the air gets to them so putting the nappy back on hopefully catches it 🙈 Then go back and change him! You’ll get very good at being able to tell when a wee is coming 🙈 Metanium barrier cream the yellow version is also a life saver for nappy rash, especially when they’re teething as always seems worse then! Enjoy every second once he’s here and don’t ever doubt yourself you’ve got this, Mummy & Daddy know best 🤎
Good morning Gemma, my mum and I were talking about you yesterday, we can’t believe how quick your pregnancy has gone! We can’t wait to meet him. My little sisters son is due in September and I’m trying for another! Happy Easter! 🤍🐇🥚
Morning gemma looking forward to this omg those slepping bags are just so adorable hope you,Jamie teddy, tilly,&bump baby boys are all good
You must feel sooo excited...you're almost there...your baby has the most beautiful room too ❤❤❤
You NEED! You need the babybjorn baby sitter, it’s a lifesaver. I used it every day from NB and still using it 9 months later every day! It’s nice because the baby can nap in it during the day but also hang out with you while you are doing things around the home 😍 love!
Hey! I just imagined your son one day watching this video, how excited and ready you were for him💗
Hey Gemma… you have prepared so beautifully for little man❣️ as any new mom you are entitled to enjoy this experience but just know that most of it you don’t need and probably won’t get much use out of( you won’t know that until you have little one #2 should that be your journey) Enjoy making these memories love it’s the first stages of your Mommy Story
Good morning Gemma, hope you’re feeling well. Looking forward to watching this as usual! Lots of love 💜
I love these videos 🥰 and a video from Gemma on a Sunday morning is good for the soul!🤍
My Sunday is complete now I’m watching this. This is my escape and happy place for a while xx
EEKK!! This is getting so real now 😁🥲 Im so excited for you, and just know that you are going to be the best mummy to your beautiful little boy 🥰🤍 x x x
Loving your journey with baby .thats one lucky wee boy hes going to be so loved 💙 its exciting being a mum for first time cant wait until we get a chance to see him take care Gemma x
Your house basically my dream home I’m obsessed & absolutely LOVE baby boys nursery!🥰🤍 I hope you’re having the best Easter/bank holiday🐣🐰🤍
Hi Gemma I just want to remind you to make sure you and Jamie spend as much special time together now before baby comes. Once baby is here there is not a lot of time for the two of you to spend alone. I never had a first aide kit but a grooming kit is a must. Most of all remember to enjoy the first year with baby it goes by so fast. Sending lots of love your way and prayers for an easy and safe delivery.
Yesssssss perfect for a Sunday morning 😍😍😍 I just woke up and now you’ll be my comfy morning time
Seeing you this happy is so amazing! You look stunning!
Two baby’s now all grown, 5 & 8 and I never had nor needed a snot sucker hehe. Love how prepared you are. Really takes me back to my first. 12 weeks pregnant and I already had almost everything I needed, all the big things, cot pram car seat included just waited to know the gender for clothes :). Your list are just the one!!!! Love your videos so much!xx

And I would have loved that aqua scale bath!!!!!x
Good morning Gemma! Look up Red Cross first aid kits. I have them in my home. I love watching you prepare, that was me last year. Just know you can have so many things and you'll find cute stuff along the way after he's born as well. Enjoy every single moment left of pregnancy and motherhood. It went by fast with my 12 year old and it's cruising right along with my eight month old 🥰
Hi GEMMA you are looking so serene and beautiful which is great for baby to know his mummy is calm and happy. your fur babies are gonna make brilliant big brother and sister to baby boy but I know you know this but be sure to watch them for getting into his crib or wherever he lies as they love to be close to babies faces and snuggle. Can't wait to see you and Jamie grow as parents, this is going to be one lucky boy xxxx❤❤❤❤
I love this video so much. It's such a special time having your first baby. I have 4 children now and it's so exciting each time but your first is such a new and exciting experience. I'm so happy for you. Also you have done an amazing job there. You are going to be a fantastic mummy. 🥰💞
Hi gemma gorgeous gorgeous baby nursery so excited for you and Jamie I had my son 43 yrs ago, today there's alot more things to have, take care xx👍💕🌞🐈🐈
Happy Easter Gemma, and yes baby monitor is a must! 💙
I’m so excited for you Gemma! Jamie too ☺️ lol. After 5 children and 14 grandchildren what I want to share with you is this. I encourage you to use the remaining time to relax…. You’ll never have this carefree time again so pamper yourself. Also once you have your baby, sleep when he sleeps day or night. It makes a huge difference. The breast pump is great to have because it will allow Jamie to do feedings as well. He will love the bonding time with his Son and it will give you a much needed break. Last but not least, I didn’t use the baby nail clippers until about 6 to 8 months. I bit their finger nails lol. I know it may sound weird but I was terrified of clipping their skin because their finger nails are so tiny in the beginning. I can’t wait to see you as a Mommy Gemma. You’re going to be amazing! ♥️
Can’t wait to see you become a mumma 😍 love to dream swaddles are amazing for getting great nights sleep from baby ✨
Wow gemma!! Beautiful xxx you look so happy xx so excited for baby boy to get here xxx wishing you the best xx
You will be an amazing mum you are naturally dedicated to home making and very practical and creative do not worry. I can tell you are in your element and enjoying home making I love time at home too xxxx
always look forward to watching your videos Gemma. your gonna have such a beautiful family xx
This is so helpful and I’m already a mum of an 8 year old! I’m expecting a baby late September, and I feel like everything has changed since then or I’ve forgot what I need this time around 🤣🥰 xx
Making me broody, Gemma! Love all baby things 👶🏻 xx
i had the MAM bottles when i had my second baby 15 years ago they were the best bottles I used and bought double the amount so i always had bottles on the go really made feeding so much easier x
Watching this I was smiling all the way through. You will never forget the excitement of being a first time mum and not being able to wait to try everything out and put all the cute clothes on him 🙂❤️ PS - just remembered I was going to mention, but I am sure you will get advice from your midwife on this too, that it may be an idea to try to get breast feeding established before introducing a bottle? Reason being (as I was told) the bottle is easier for baby to get the milk he needs in the early days so he may stop trying to get milk from the breast and favour the bottle. I did this with my first baby and I remember feeling so disappointed. With my second I persevered with breast feeding and did as u had been advised. Baby was three months old and we'll established with breast feeding before I introduced the bottle. For boiled water, I gave this from a spoon. Hope that helps 🙂
gemma your absolutely glowing!! hope you and bump are doing okay!!!🤍🤍🤍
My son is 6 months old now. I used the baby monitor for when he is in his big bed or when he does naps upstairs. About the bedsheats etc. I was always told you need at least 3 of everything. 1 in use. 1 in the washing and 1 spare in the linnen closet.
Wow!!!! You are so organised 😮🤩 you have everything! You are both going to be great parents I am so excited for you both xxx
Happy Easter🌸 Looking at this video brings back so much beautiful memories. You look absolutely gorgeous. Make sure you rest when your body says so from now on. Also it would be so helpful to get all baby' clothes all washed so everything is easy at hand when the time comes. You'll are going to be great. Blessings 🌸
Fisher price bouncers are amazing! So colourful and stimulating for baby!
Aldi nappies are definitely worth trying. We loved them
Don’t forget a nappy bin ! We use the vital baby one which is great as no bags required and it really keeps the smell trapped in. We use nappy sacks for dirty nappies and no sacks for the wet nappies x
I'm sorry you're feeling so all over the place but you still look beautiful 🥰 You must be getting so excited, i can't believe how fast your due date is coming up ❤️
Ewan is a lifesaver 😂👏🏼 so good he turns himself on during the night automatically my 3m baby loves it!! Also we love the ROCKITT for the pram and the astronaut one ROCKITT do for the cot.
You have got some beautiful items there ready for when you have your baby boy. Thank you for sharing this. Happy Easter 🍼👶🐣🐰
I’d recommend the Baby Bumco Butt Spatula for applying diaper/nappy cream. Especially if you’re like me and hate anything getting under your nails! Most are thick pastes and hard to wash off your hands ;) Also, have a look at the Oogiebear - it’s a “ear and nose picker” I find it a a great tool to get the little crusty bogies out their nose (the sucker is good for soft or slimy ones) and it doubles as a tool to pick out earwax. It was designed as well so it won’t go too far up/in noses and ears - important with a squiggly little one! Good luck! I found it difficult and overwhelming at first, but it’s just an adjustment. You’ll get used to your new normal - and don’t be shy to accept anyone’s help :)
Not me watching the whole of this video when my eldest is 14 and youngest is 9😂😂 so excited for you. I loved baby bath times🤗 Happy Easter 🐇 enjoy your day xxx
Late watching this as I have a baby myself! But definitely think a Shnuggle changing mat would fit perfectly in your little changing Moses basket. Catches baby boy wee perfectly! For breastfeeding I’d highly recommend getting a pack of nipple shields just in case you struggle with pain or baby doesn’t latch well. They truly were a lifesaver with us 🙂
i just love the aesthetic 💕 can’t believe the baby is here
Tmi I know ,the puppy pads are also great to pop on Ur bed for after birth bleeding ,protects Ur mattress ,can't wait to see baby ,your both gunna be great parents xx
We used our baby monitor when our baby was about 9 weeks, she started to go to bed earlier than us around then so we could keep an eye and enjoy some evening of our own. I use it for daytime naps too
My top tips are do a first aid and CPR class, it’s better to know than not to!🥰 also I read in a car safety group that mirrors aren’t recommended due to them potentially shattering in an accident, I actually had one and have no replaced it with a camera, it’s so much safer too as I don’t have to keep checking my mirror! Also don’t pump before 6 weeks, this allows your body to regulate the amount of milk baby wants so you don’t end up overproducing and by doing so you prevent getting mastitis! If you need to pump in the early days for relief use a manual pump or massage your boobs in the shower/bath!! Wishing you all the luck! You’re already an amazing mama❤️
Everything looks amazing! Its so exciting to prepare everything when you are pregnant. I have a 6 months old baby, one year ago i was so exited like you 😍. Many people Will tell you that you wont use many things... Or that you need other things..... Dont listen, enjoy your moment. Buy what you want . Kisses from Spain
You've got this mom, Happy Easter!!see you soon.
I put it in the bedside crib because it just gives you security when you feel like it just give yourself abit of time whilst there sleeping Eg get a shower bath self care just saves you constantly worrying 💗
How things have changed since my daughter was born. We had a plastic bath no mod cons or used the sink . Everything is so cute . Recommendation get different dummies baby might not take to the teat but you can buy them later on because not all babies like a dummy , don't know if you will use them but possibly get bibs babies drool alot etc . Fantastic video
This is brillant checklist for all new mummys to be gemma your so organised little tiny baby clothes are so cute n adorable all so excited seeing it come together wont be long till your little babys here 😊 babys going to be super ready your amazin gemma love your vlogs how did you get on with the spice racks thx for making my sunday morning happy again ure vlogs always make me smile
Loved this video Gemma 💕 lots of love xz
i love your video's im going to be a 1st time mom in about 6 week's time and i haven't a clue what to buy or when to start buying anything i have my hospital bag bought but that it. thank you so much for these videos i may go on a shopping spree. best of luck to you, Jamie and the baby boy ye deserve every happiness xxx ❤
Ohhhh havnt been on your videos for ages ...congrats your having a baby .x ahhhhh you will make a lovely mother xx 😇🥰😍💖💞💜💙💛
I recommend buying a Diaper Genie. It's a bin specially designed for tossing used nappies & keeping the home odor-free. Game changer. 🥰
For a first aid kit Gemma if you google mini first aid first aid kit, it’s a green polka dot bag, that’s the best one it has everything! Also you need burts bees nappy rash cream, it’s amazing!! Love the nursery 😍♥️ xxx
Good morning... Looking forward to this. Can't have my morning coffee, because I'm fasting. Thank you Gemma 😊 💓
Getting my coffee ready!!💗🎀💗
HEY GEMMA !!! You look ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS with your growing baby belly !! I'm so excited for Jamie & yourself !!! I have all brother's which have all daughter's / I however have the only son. Lol Which I might admit there isn't nothing compare to how that LITTLE BOY will steal your heart at first sight ! How everything you thought you loved couldn't compare in the slightest. How you will know in that moment he was what your life had been missing for it to be complete !!!! Becoming a (MOMMY) is the biggest blessing--- With that said it's also the hardest job with NO pay. You get "No sleep" for the first several months, "No real breaks," "Your body & emotion's feel abused," "You most likely will cry over anything and everything," Then few years & gray hairs later they become "teenager's" so "No Respect" lol 😆 Let's not even get into the amount they will costs!! ** I thought of a few items listed below that I don't believe you have and might need as I've tried as a mommy or @ work in childcare I can tell you with all my experience over years with Babies/Toodlers/Kid's as they've grown over the year's. THESE ARE ITEMS I COULDN'T RECOMMEND ENOUGH........ • DIAPER RASH CREAM..... Tons of it!! (Burt's bees) (Butt paste) makes good ones •WIPE DOWN/WASHABLE CHANGING PADS (Munchkins) makes great ones for a good value • BURP CLOTHS.... At least 10 you'll use them for everything. (Burt's bees/ Gerber) makes value packs • BATH CADDY..... Easy way to have everything you need all in one place. Nail Clippers/Bath wash/Lavender Lotion/Diaper Cream/Wash Cloths/Hair Brush/ Nose Sucker ......... (Lily Miles has a cute on on Amazon) •NIPPLE CREAM........ (Burt's bees) •BREAST GEL PACKS..... (Fomi / Lansinoh) Makes HOT - COLD reusable packs. They are a Great once you start breastfeeding!!!!!! They help to relieve the swelling an pain when used COLD as well with most breast pumps to help encourage milk let down. Used HOT they can help relieve system from plugged ducts. •MILK PADS.... (Eco Organic washable /Lansinoh Stay Dry disposable) • BREAST BUMP.... (Elvie Cruve) my sister in-law loved & it's easy to take on the go. •BREAST MILK STORAGE - FREEZER BAG'S...... (Legendary Milk) makes silicone reusable bags (Lansinoh) makes disposable ones • ICE PACK...... (KIINDLE TWIST) (YETTI) (COOL COOLERS) Which are great for keeping baby's milk cold in diapers bag. Whether you have storege bag's- bottle's or you just pumped. It helps to keep your precious milk from spoiling. • Black Out Curtains !!!!!!! Are a most !!!!! Hope this helps. 😁 You have done such a wonderful job decorating an (nesting) I know we all thank you for allowing us to be able to watch you on this new journey in y'all's life.
I would also suggest zippered "sleep suits" as you called them. They're so much quicker and easier to unfasten and fasten especially during night time changes.
Dont know if you'll see this but.... Muslin blankets or squares! Deffo buy. Bought them for all 3 of mine. They are so multi functional Over your shoulder when burping. To wipe baby's mouth I now use mine as my baby is nearly 2 now for wiping nose instead of the tissues that make it really sore. Dampen them down and drape over the pram when its hot to keep baby cool. Wipe them down with a cool one in the summer to keep them cool. ( i use these as they dry really fast too) Use as a light blanket in the summer. I used to lay them on the waterproof changing matts as they can be cold on babys back in the winter and really sticky during the summer so I place one on. Also any accident they can easily be washed and dried!!! I used the bamboo muslins for mine as they are a lot softer xxx 2 out of my 3 children have allergies and nappy rash was horrific blisters the works metanium nappy cream was the best! Cleared up instantly. However it is very yellow and quite easily gets on to things but its well worth it! Xxx
Two tips. 1. Place a folded muslin on the mattress where babies head is. When baby is sick replace with a clean muslin not a clean sheet every time. 2. I too pumped and breast fed. I used to freeze my milk which came in handy. Also never heated milk. Always fed at room temperature. Found it so much easier when out and about not having to heat up milk to the temperature baby was used to. 👶🍼💙
Congratulations! Plenty of Disinfectant wipes/spray and hand sanitizer in every room especially at the bottle making station. Cradle cap comb. Plenty of bottles you can never have too many bottles. Whichever bottles your baby likes the best buy plenty of them. ❤️ Pump wipes for sure.
Top tip is get yourself Bepanthen barrier cream. Your baby will never have a nappy rash. Brilliant stuff. So excited for you, you are going to be an awesome mum.

So true! Even for me I use it on my nose when I have a cold and my nose so dry!
Oh Gemma I just adore you. You are so silly and are going to be a great mom! My oldest baby is going to be 12 in a couple of days.. and my other baby is 6.. but we're talking about trying for another. I love that you don't seem like your trying to be that perfect parent like some other youtubers on here.. I've stopped watching them lol.. sending love and positive and calming vibes💙
hiya gemma you look so beautiful today glowing cant wait to see you with your little fella in your arms he is going to be so so loved with a lovely mummy and daddy sending love to you and jamiexxand one for the bumpx
Some handy things I learned when I had my son: Take a basic first aid and CPR class. Have gas drops and analgesia on hand. Sleep when baby sleeps. Have a lovely Sunday!

Gemma I definitely 2nd this! I've had to do the heimlich on 3 children in my family over the years, the last time was on my 1yr old granddaughter and had I not known (& stayed very calm) I'm afraid of what the outcome may have been as at the time we lived so far from a hospital or rescue, it's so very important although of course we pray you will never need it 🙏💛

@@ronicalee3112 I agree with the first aid too, but it should be back blows now, especially on a baby or young child. I also have had this happen to me twice, it's terrifying but so glad I knew what to do thanks to pediatric first aid which I had to because I work with children. X

Happy easter gemma im going to make those easter bars to take to my mums this is a amazin vlog 😊
Puppy pads are amazing for ok the go changing out and about. But a wipeable mat works great at home. Shove it behind the sofa if it’s clean. I love your changing bag! I loved Skip Hop stuff (they do great feeding things when baby’s older). Don’t forget to pack snacks in there for you if you’re out and about. Especially if you’re breastfeeding I found I was always super hungry. I had a set up by where I fed my son with bottled water and snacks etc. just because I spent a lot of time there. I got the Dr Browns bottles (everyone recommended those to me) but I’d just say trial and error for everything because what works for you and your baby can be different for the next. Slightly random but Amazon Subscribe and Save is a huge help. I get baby wipes and never run out. You can also save a little too because boy! They can can get expensive haha. Most important advice I got was just do what’s best for you and your baby! Take advice and things from everyone (because you’ll get it) but don’t feel any pressure because you know you and your baby best. Xxxx
Puppy training pads are also good when your at the potty training stage for when your driving in car. I used to put one under the baby car seat saves your seats getting wet.
Puppy pads are also good to have as you might want to put baby boy down without a nappy on if he gets a poorly bum and it will let air get to his bits I did it with my girls xx
Hi lovely Gemma so lovely to see your lovely smiling face I just love to c how happy and excited u r u have got some beautiful iteams for baby love them so much u look so well thanks for video take care c u soon uk 🇬🇧 🧸🍼
My daughter loves her sleepy head ( dock a tot) we put it in snuz pod of night and she has the best sleep x
Everything looks great your about ready. Thanks for the look.
Happy Easter Gemma 💐
10000% recommend the dream egg white noise machine, Ewan is great but he will only kick in once baby is already stirring / awake where this plays constantly and reduces disturbances. It’s also portable! Xxx

Love your vlogs and cannot wait to see your gorgeous baby boy xx Btw Gemma you really dont need a first aid kit at all I'm having my 5th baby soon and I've never used 1 lol, I dont no who told you to get 1 but the grooming kit is a must 🤗x
good morning & happy Easter 🐣 xxx
Makes me want a baby asap! 🐣💗😘✨ So many cute things.
I wanted to breastfeed my first but as a first time mum, the first time she didn’t latch properly and struggled to feed I instantly gave her formula and gave up on breastfeeding. I wish I’d have had support to persevere as with my second, this happened again but I just had a bowl of porridge and pint of water and tried again in half an hour and it worked and I ended up breastfeeding him until he was two. I didn’t have any formula in the house second time round so I didn’t have the option straight away at the first hurdle. Everyone is different but I found breastfeeding so much easier especially during night feeds (no bottles to make) and going out (always had my boobs with me so didn’t need to even think about feeding). When I started giving my first baby formula I also went for aptamil as it’s advertised as closest to breast milk but it actually gave my baby bad constipation and after looking it up, it’s well known to cause this. I found cow and gate more gentle on her stomach. Wishing you the best of luck at this magical time. If I could press rewind I would do it over and over again. Remember to make time for self care when baby comes and don’t be afraid to ask for help xx
Looking really well Gemma xx
Morning GEMMAA! I hope this pregnancy goes as swiftly as possible🤎
Congratulations Gemma
Congratulations! So excited for you and Jamie! Btw, miss seeing him in your videos! How is he doing with all the baby changes? Much love to your family!!❤
A playmat / gym is a must! Great for tummy time
