In 2014 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and one of the first things my oncologist to,d me was “ don’t listen to others who have gone through it. Everyone has a different experience.” I think the same applies to pregnancy. I can’t wait to see you and Jamie with the baby! It’s going to be as amazing and wonderful as you are anticipating. Open pergolas look lovely but are not practical. If you put a cover over the top (lots of options) you can have shade in the warmer months and be protected from rain in winter. Just a thought. We covered ours in Australia and we get so much more use of it now. ❤️
