I'm looking this up because I've realized that as many times as I've seen chinchillas, I've never seen what a baby one looks like.

She was fighting with her husband at night for a long time, and they peeing on each other. Dust bath did not help anymore. But we didn't want to wash her with water, becouse we didn't want to disturb her while she is breastfeeding. Thank you for comment! :)

ah bless her. Did y know never to get a chin wet? their fur is too thick and won't dry and they get fungal infections. 10 days after she's given birth she can start dust baths again.

@@pennys7913 chinchillas in exceptional circumstances can be given water baths, you just have to help them dry themselves. Also should really only be done by someone who knows what they're doing. I've had my chin fall in the toilet once before and with the help of a hair drier and hair brush she was back to floofy in about an hour. We also had a issue recently with pee staining that was getting quite bad and I had to resort to washing her with water in a attempt to get rid of the stains up her belly, leg and tail (she's a white chin and likes to sit in her own pee)

How does this not have more views?? This was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen! ❤️

This video just made my day. Both of mine died years ago at 14 but I miss is when they would mate and have these babies. CHinchillas are literally the most adorable animals on earth.

Chinchilla babies are fluff ball trouble makers. I had to put mother and babies in a bird cage because they kept escaping! Thank goodness for my boarder collie. He always told me when they made a run for it and would corral them for me. Lol. Good times. 🥰
