Extremely helpful! I’m on baby number 4 and 10 years being the age gap. Never have I had my concerns explained in such a way I can fully understand and ease my concerns. I hope many parents can find this video and it can comfort and inform them properly! Thank you doctor!

Very informative...my son has baby acne from day 10 it is still there on and off. Doctor said what you mentioned here and we are hanging in there for it to go on its own.

Thank you Doc. I have a 6 weeks baby girl and she has acne (like you described) love you’re explanation. It makes me feel better. every time I ask her ped she says “it’s normal and it’ll go away” but not explanation or what it is.

Can heat rash not be red? My newborn has rashes that looks like heat rash but they’re not red.

What about peeling on the face that begins between 6 and 7 weeks? It was initially baby acne and cradle cap on the eyebrows. I washed with warm water and applied crave lotion and organic jojoba oil

Term neonatal acne has been replaced with neonatal cephalic pustulosis because sebaceous glands are not involved in the pathogenesis

I can't diagnose over the internet, rashes can be especially tricky to diagnose without seeing in person so I'd recommend a visit to your child's clinician! Best of luck ❤

Can what we ate during pregnancy affect the new born skin rashes? I am from Srilanka and the its very warm these days. My son is 1 month 3 days old. He has kind of Prickly heats. His face, head, ears and some spots in the body😞. Any advice on this please? Should i use lacto calamine?

Typically no. Food we ingest doesnt impact kiddos. May be more warmth related from envionrment

Can applying baby powder relief baby acne?

There are safely concerns regarding baby powders that contain talc so their use isn’t recommended in general. Regarding those without talc, I haven’t seen any evidence of their use in baby acne and usually recommend observation alone unless it’s severe or persistent, in which case it’s best to see your clinician

Can the acne be on other places beside the face? My newborn has what I thought was baby acne but it’s spreading to other parts of the body.

Newborn acne is usually only on the face. If it's continuing to spread may be worth having your pediatrician take a look. Best of luck!

Can I use breast milk for heat rush

There's no evidence to support the use of breast milk for heat rash, usually all that's needed is airing out the skin/avoiding further excess heat/sweat

My newborn has peeling skin on anus and crying while pooping plz advise something for this problem.

Hi guys, after meeting my doctor and he confirmed that I had Urticaria, I was so scared that it shouldn't hurt my family. I made all provisions to cure myself when I found out the drugs were not working. But to no avail. Until doctor Iyhere on youtube made everything possible.

How about my baby he had a cradle cap what should I do

I tried Vaseline on my little one head and in two weeks it’s gone as it was a lot. 🎉

Not being able to actually see ,just listen isn't too helpful
