I'm glad I came across this video. For the past 6 months, I was researching and looking for a black ceramic openworked/skeleton Genta-style integrated bracelet sports watch. My dream watch is the AP Perpetual Calendar Openworked Ceramic, but that watch and essentially any black ceramic AP is way out of budget. I tried on a black ceramic GP Laureato Skeleton and I liked the looks but the legibility was quite difficult, wore a bit too large for me, and was more than triple the cost of the Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton Ceramic that I eventually got later. I bought that black ceramic Defy Skyline Skeleton brand new with a 31% discount and that watch definitely scratches my itch for a black ceramic skeleton sports watch. I've handled several APs, including a couple Double Balance Wheel Openworks and my dream black ceramic Perpetual Calendar Openworked. I will say my ceramic Zenith Skyline skeleton isn't the same level as those AP's but it is an extremely amazing watch in of itself. And the fact I bought mine for the same price as a brand new stainless steel Skyline Skeleton and less than 8x the retail price of a base 41 mm ceramic AP is a huge bonus. In the integrated bracelet sports watch arena, these Defy Skylines are a huge value compared to the other contenders in my opinion

Love the ability to easily change straps on this - I wish more companies would use that feature. Love the rubber strap look on this one - what color are you thinking of getting, Tony? I think a blue one would look great!

Great video! Is the bracelet as comfortable as an oyster bracelet? Or close? My wrist is sensitive, some bracelets feel sharp if you know what I mean, where a Rolex bracelet is soft. Thx man, I enjoy your vids!

Stunning new watch Tony. When you compare it to the likes of GP and AP, the $11k price tag isn't that big, especial when Zenith has such great pedigree too. I'm sure you're going to enjoy wearing that one!

Love Zenith! Question for you. How do you feel about Swiss watches having parts made in Asia? According to COSC, For a “Swiss made” label there has to be at least 60% of the production costs are generated in Switzerland. So Omega could technically use a Chinese bracelet and still call it Swiss made. Love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks and keep up the great work!

I had seen it in previous videos, and I tried a Defy classic Skeleton previously. I wish I had bought it, but then got discontinued. So when I saw this it was immediate. 🤙🤙😊😊

I’ve had my eye on the Zenith Chronomaster sport for a while. Could be my next big purchase.

I'm probably going to get a Defy Skyline at some point. Maybe next year? I get choice paralysis between that, their Pilot, and then at that price (less*) I could get my Seamaster Pro in green, since I really like the whole METAS thing... or a Panerai, which would be a more unique addition to my collection. Although I don't have an integrated bracelet either. But then I've been into the latest Chronomat GMT (Breitling), which would be cheaper to service, down the line. Like I said, choice paralysis. Also, I really want a Drive de Cartier while I can find one. Or a quartz Santos. Like I said, choice paralysis.

Zenith is a brand which is underrated. Great choice And Congrats Tony. You can definitely pick up a great buy in grey market. People forget Zenith movement was used 2/3 generations ago in Rolex Daytonas.

So what time is it? Well, it looks like it is 10.08 and 0 seconds, but it could be 10.08 and 10 sec, or it could be 10.08 and 20 sec. But wait, maybe it's just 10.07 and 50 sec. With that second hand making a rotation every ten seconds, who knows? It's as functional as a watch with just two hands. So, here we have a watch, with a movement theoretically capable of indicating time to 1/10 of a second, but we need to guess the correct time by looking at the minute hand? It pains me to say it because I love Zenith, but yet again, it's another fail. It's like their tri spoke second hand on the Defy chrono. where you don't know which of the spokes is the second indicator. It's like they just don't want to tell you precisely what time it is. I think they are just trolling.
