Yes PPP economy we will be no.1 in 2055- 2060. Nominal 2nd. But actually ppp is the real GDP which is made after adjusting inflation.

Do you know about 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai (similar to 9/11 in the US). The recce for this attack was done by a US citizen. That is the reason, sometimes people are cautious at railway stations - not allowing videos of entering and exiting

There have been terrorist attacks inside train stations and trains orchestrated by Pakistan , most dark one being the 26/11 Mumbai attack.Things are better now but that’s because of such measures like no photography of government buildings. It is a chaotic country but I wouldn’t go for anything else to be finally rested.

Taking pictures and shooting videos without prior permissions from authorities is not allowed in some top tier cities to prevent attacks like 26/11 and safeguard the internal security issues of those economic zones.

The true silicone valley has to moved to the San Jose area and just rents alone rose a hundred fold in less than two years. Orlando is building up the area around lake Nona as a medical city but the other part would become a tech area transforming it into another Silicon Valley. New York around the Hudson valley is earmarked for their Silicon Valley development as it’s close to NYC but far enough so environmentalists can’t mess with them although the HQ buildings would be in Manhattan or the boroughs. Most states along both coasts are earmarking sites for Silicon Valleys of their own to shorten the manufacturing time and help develop tech faster. Maine unusually is the lone holdout due their environmental laws. But it’s really going forward so not much anyone can really do.

So India has a law, you can't film at govt properties and offices because mostly due to security reasons (for e.g. can be used for terror attacks), but it is not followed strictly at all. The government also is not interested in punishing someone for that.

you cant take or shoot the videos of train station because of 26/11 terrorist attacks (in which terrorists attacked railway station as well and police found out that someone provide them the videos of station so that they knew the entry exit and crowded areas)

Why we are not allowed to take pictures in certain areas like train stations is cause of the history of terrorist attacks.

What outsiders and most of our own won't understand is the "value" of the parallel and unorganized economy that's going on in India, some of those unbranded fast food selling outlets make millions but all that income is never disclosed are brought into the mainstream economy. Maids make about 15 to 20k inr per month. Real estate industry only discloses half of its total transcational values if not less. If all these incomes included in main stream economy, our GDP will be much higher and per capita numbers will be higher too. But irrespective of these numbers, what I like to see is, an increase in lifestyle. People are happy living in shabby places. They are happy not paying taxes. If we want govt to provide basic lifestyle aspects like education and medical, we must bring the undisclosed economy into mainstream, and pay force govt to increase tax slabs. That way govt will help lots of resources to provide with.

Though 2 bed apartment is enough for me. Have a taken a 3 bed apartment so that I can accommodate the maid. So she stays with us on a yearly contract. We provide her 3 time food and 4 pairs of clothes. And I pay her 10000 INR per month. I didn't want my wife to struggle handling 2 kids, so gave her this comfort. With 6 digit salary per month it's ok for me to spare that much for my wife's comfort and health.

India is a place of extremes as unless you live close to India’s Silicon Valley you pretty much are poor. The cities are ok but badly polluted, anything outside that and you have some very bad farming conditions. With India’s bad and corrupt building system it just completely isn’t worth living there. Honestly most people work meager jobs day to day and unless you have a job connected to Silicon Valley you are pretty screwed. The only way people leave india is if they find jobs as engineers abroad. Most of the Indian people I know literally came on an education visa and stayed because they found jobs in industry or engineering. It’s that bad. Common man show which is a KZread channel that reacts to things shows this quite clearly as those that is done in India somewhere with people from there. These guys don’t even know where India was on a map until a globe was set in front of them. It speaks to how much India has fallen back thanks to how bad the government is out there.
