Then you’re not a real jets fan. This loss stings. More than enough chances to take the lead and win this game. Awful red zone play calling by MLF, too many dropped passes (conklin at the 1, Davis, berrios). Stop settling for close games. This team is ready to win and this is a game that we should’ve won. Now we have to go to buffalo with the bills on extra rest coming off of a loss. Now we make it hard. This was a game they had to win.

I moved to Illinois just before this season started, so it has been interesting as a Vikings fan seeing the sea of Bears fans around me. Also crazy that they always broadcast Packers, Lions, and even the AFC Colts over the Vikings.

This defense is so weird, they give up so many yards and get shredded middle of field all game. Yet they somehow manage to make flashy game saving plays when it counts.

3-4 defense means you have to blitz a linebacker or a coverage man to put four men rushing the QB... but it makes the linebackers and db's job much more complicated to run. I've never been a fan of the 3-4 defense, and especially not w Smith and Hunter on the Dline.

I'm not even a Jets fan and I'm mad for ya'll. Not that you guys lost... But HOW you lost. It made no sense to be that close to the goal line and you go away from the running game. No way in hell ya'lls offense coordinator should have called those two pass plays on 3rd and 4th down right before Minnesota got the ball back at the end of the game. That was fu**ing stupid to pass the ball in that situation. They are paying those big ass linemen millions of dollars to block for the running back. The offense coordinator should have called all run plays on the goal line and walked out of Minnesota with the W. That's why I always tell people: It's not all about the players... It's those dumb ass dudes calling those plays that you can point the finger at too. The Jets PLAYERS played one hell of a game today. Ya'll's coaches? F**k them dudes.

@@cc-ec1if Bcuz our offense actually looks like an offense. Our receivers are actually getting the ball. Wilson caught for over 150yds and he’s a freaking rookie. We weren’t doing anything with Zach most of the season offensively except for those games where he threw 300yds and some picks.

If you think about it: if Kirk made those throws like the one to Hockenson and JJ, final score would be like 24-34. Kirk played tough but missed some throws he would've made in previous seasons. It's like the universe just can't let him blow a team out.

It is just simply not their time. The Jets have looked better this year than in recent ones. When a team is rebuilding there are many growing pains before the surface results appear. Things and real change takes time. Hopefully objective people and realistic ones can see the effort they are putting out ?

White is not only better than Wilson, he's way more talented. It's a struggle for Wilson to complete short passes.

One positive for White going forward is that he seems to finally have a receiver (Garrett Wilson) that he can trust - something that was painfully not the case last year (as the 4 INT game against the Bills showed). Leave Zach Wilson on the bench the rest of the season and see if White can keep the team competitive while the Jets try again next year with drafting a QB. (I doubt Zach Wilson will be able to live up to his draft billing, although it might still be premature to call him a bust.)

@@justinkiggins3106 White's picks in this game were a tip drill that went to the Vikings and a 4th down shot at the end zone with 20 seconds left to try and win the game, not passes that were airmailed and straight up missed. Not saying he played perfectly, but I do think that as of right now Mike White has shown more ability as a QB (not an athlete) than Zach Wilson.

Mike White deserves so much props for stepping up. He looks good.

As a niners fan I was rooting for the Jets today but congrats to the vikings on the dub. Vikings are great this season and they are a legit team for sure. Niners vs the vikings in the playoffs would be a great matchup as well. Good game today vikings and good luck with the rest of your season.

Even if we’ve completely given up on Zach Wilson’s chances of improving, we might as well play him and lose a few extra games so we have a chance to draft a real QB. Mike White is almost 28. He’s not going to rapidly improve fast enough to compete with Allen, Mahomes, Tua, Lamar, or Hurts (all of whom are younger) He’s a middling QB and that’s all he’s going to be. But the Jets are so QB deprived they’re willing to trash their incredible potential for the opportunity to lose in the wildcard round for the next few years.

Difference is under the 2 min mark for offense and defense is way better. Those points under 2 min really matter for those one score game.

This is literally the reason why Zach isn't starting, the rest of the team is ready now and he isn't. Mike White might not be the future for the jets but he certainly has a better present. He makes the players around him better while Zach has been dragging everyone down.

Jets played. They were giving two chances. But the effort is admirable, and they are definitely improving.

I’m happy to see the Vikings doing well in a division that was run by the Packers. Get it done. From a Jets fan.

As a Vikings fan I can still say a 60 yard field is a very impressive way to end tbe half

Vikes Red Zone/Goal Line defense was lights out. That was the difference in the game.

Here for the Ed Donatell hate. They stop drives when it counts, get turnovers, and prevent (typically) splash plays. What he’s done with an aging OLB and CB group is actually impressive considering how they have the same players as last year but run a 3-4 now.

I feel for the Jets and great to see them fighting again for once.

I am loving the Vikings this season.

I have no ties to NY as I’m from KC & bleed red. But I’m quickly becoming a NY Jet fan too. You guys are really turning the culture around👍 I knew R Saleh was gonna do big things there! Stand up guy & made the RIGHT decision in sitting ZW for Big Mike👏 Keep it up!

The jets came up short but dang......they aren't a cakewalk game anymore. Jets are looking good though. Definitely heading in the right direction. They fought the entire game. Hats off to the jets

Vikings' Defense has been a lit lackluster this season but this game they were really firing. They're the reason they won, the Offense didn't make it easy on them making them do 2 redzone stops like that, but they rose to the occasion.

The way the Vikes keep winning close games is unreal. I've watched the Vikes since the 60's and don't recall them ever winning so many close ones. And the seasons not over yet. . At first it seemed like luck, but it's not all luck. They've made some good plays and some smart plays at the end, and have had good clock management.. I wasn't a big fan of them doing 3 running plays at the end though, but I might have been wrong because if it's incomplete it stops the clock. .But a first down wins the game. Tough call there.

The vikes are the all time leader in 1 score games through the first 12 games with today being the 9th, so you're right they've never won so many close ones nor has anyone else. Pretty crazy stat

Jets are definitely missing B.Hall and AVT in those situations. They are literally going to be a problem next season. MW played damn good , A 2nd string QB . Red zone issues were the game Achilles. Other than that they came up short. I’m more impressed with how the jets played and fought back actually.

vikings deserve to win the jets had multiple oppurtunities and to win and screwed it up, bad playcalling and bad mistakes beat the jets. ggs vikings hopefully the jets can pull it off next week against the bills. go jets

You can tell Thielen's not the same receiver he was a few years ago. Some of those incompletions he had would have been easy receptions in prior years.

Good game Jets as always for the Vikings this season it came right down to the last 30 seconds of the game. You guys have a good head coach and I think Mike White is your quarterback of the future. I think Zach Wilson is a bust I wasn't a fan of you guys drafting him second overall but I think that you guys have your quarterback of the future and when Bryce Hall comes back next year I think you guys will have a really good team add a couple of pieces via free agency and or the draft and you guys are going to be a team to contend with for years to come. watching zach wilson play most of the games was rough

God I love this team, yes they give me so much anxiety but they are so fun to watch. I can’t wait to get Cam Dantzler back, forreal our secondary needs him! 10-2 feels so good tho, SKOL! 💛💜

I am not mad as a Jets fan. This was a an all around great game played by both teams and as for QB, u keep Mike White in their. Even with 2 picks, he played one hell of a game and still could have won it if Corey Davis breaks that tackle after that huge catch on 4th & 10 or if Barrios makes that catch in the end zone. What a game played by both teams.

As a jets fan I'm disappointed we came up short of what would have been a really good comeback but I'm happy to see we have heart and will keep playing till that clock hits zero as for the coaching they need to do better so we can score 1 yard and not blow it for us but all and all the future of this team looks bright and btw gg vikings your defense was tough but we almost had you if only berrios would have caught that darn ball lol but hey I'm overall happy that my team looks good after years of disappointment and we are coming for you Buffalo.

I think Zeurlein can kick one 70 yards for 3 points. That 60 yard FG looked good for at least 10 more if needed. Impressive.
