Oh wow! This is one of the best songs on the first Johansen album. I didn't know the Dolls did it!

So it's Johansen's first album that I've got. I wasn't sure which one was his first the blue covered one or the white one. The only other Johansen album I have is 'Sweet Revenge'. I just had to buy it after I saw him out of the blue singing King of Babylon on Miami Vice. He was cool on that.

David Johansen did a great version of Girls, Girls, Girls (Girls) as did Sylvain Sylvain with Teenage News-

Can never have TOO many...

All the vocals have squeal to them....thats because this was loud enough to make you deaf for a couple .of days..........notice that the drums are not at all what David Johansen recorded on his solo album.

Allright anyone know is Nolan on drums ?

I think at the times they weren't more the NyDolls, but as some fans called they "The Dollettes", i mean without Thunders/Nolan

I think Mott the Hoople and Mr. Ian Hunter may disagree having started a little earlier but this aint no rock snobbery I love the Dolls and all Davids solo stuff just as much.
