WILLIAMSBURG is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, bordered by Greenpoint to the north; Bedford-Stuyvesant to the south; Bushwick and East Williamsburg to the east; and the East River to the west.
Since the late 1990s, Williamsburg has undergone significant gentrification characterized by a contemporary art scene, hipster culture, and vibrant nightlife that has projected its image internationally as a "Little Berlin." During the early 2000s, the neighborhood became a center for indie rock and electroclash. Numerous ethnic groups inhabit enclaves within the neighborhood, including Italians, Jews, Hispanics, Poles, Puerto Ricans, and Dominicans.

I recently moved to NYC and say the same thing. I work in Finance and work on the 47th floor and always like to look out the windows onto the other building and the same thought pops into my head when I see people in their offices at work. Like they all have a story. They all probably went to college most probably come from a different city as well pursuing a dream or like me just starting out their careers. I’m 22 btw lol. I’m also from Texas! But I’m from the Panhandle in a city called Amarillo Tx.
Hot and humid summer days are back in town Julien, don't forget to drink a lot of water and protect your eyes and head with a hat and sunglasses during the walking tours. Thanks for a walk my friend! 🗽✨⛱️

Pretty real all of your videos. Nice cameras. Used to live in Greenpoint but different so much. It was mid 80's and I was only 18. No videos privately in those days and only film pictures left. Just subscribed.

Funny. We were in Williamsburg on June 18th. The Lady at min 14:12 on the Bedford Ave. offered piercings as well and tattoos for 50 bucks 😊. I thought Williamsburg was super hip and a nice spot. Greetings from Germany

Hi @JulienInNYC Thanks for this video, feels like I'm there. Two questions, if you don't mind; Do you use the native camera app or DJI's? Do you go ultrawide at 0,5 x or do you stay wide at 1 x?

Hi ... thank you ! I use the native camera. For this video I use the main lens, x1 Sometimes I use the ultra wide, specially when I have to film skyscrapers.

@@JulienInNYC Thank you! I really appreciate it. I’ve had some challenges with the DJI app, mainly with the sound and battery drain, so I’ll only use it for its unique shooting modes.

Used to live in Williamsburg 90s and 2000s it has changed so much . I lived on Grand street last time I went a year ago was unrecognizable. Seeing the yuppies are dressing better before they looked homeless ( I’m guessing they was going for the grunge punk look) they kinda would smell of body odor on the train . but now they dress actually decent .
I had a good indirect experience. It feels like walking on the streets of New York City. Thanks for the video you uploaded.

Bedford Ave is the main drag I must have walked it a 100 times it gets boring same old same old. The Water front is so much nicer. Plenty of resturants all through out the community. A lot to do and see. Wythe Ave Driggs Ave West Steet.
