The good old days of London, I was born in London. and I remember when it was New Years Eve 2014 or something, and we saw huge fireworks from a distance just shoot out. It was beautiful, and sadly I'm in america, but I wish I was still in London. :(

Who ever choreographed the fireworks this year did an absolutely brilliant job. Best ever this year. Just wished they'd had better more classic well known loved songs.....like the Beatles song as the end. Or a themed firework display to some of the great hits from the last 50 years even. The fireworks beautifully choreographed to this type of music would have been amazing and catered for all ages. Still thought it was a brilliant display though. Well done to who ever choreographed the display x

It was themed, the phrase “London is open” is heard repeatedly in different European languages. The music is from European artists and the eu flag is lit up around the London eye.

@@Glenys8080 I'd noticed in the Seattle Washington New Year Firework display they also said they 'where open'??? I hadn't realised London or Seattle Washington where closed! Lol So what message is being sent and why??? Such a strange message tbh to be part of a New Years Eve Firework Celebration. At first I thought that the London message could have been because of all the goings on over Brexit, but it was said in different languages and then when I saw the same message in Washington I was a little taken aback and confused why 2 major cities would use say this phrase during a televised New Years Celebration Firework Display. Very intriguing! I am not being a conspiracy theorist. I would just like to know why this message was said. What is the reasoning behind it? Just nosy I suppose. Just found it a little weird. Surely I am not the only one......or AM I?? Lol. Happy New Year anyways. Still enjoyed the fireworks (except the annoying non descript music, that was mildly an improvement on last years) xx

Ricardo Abrego Receive is the correct spelling . NYC fireworks would be a fire danger in Times Square which is a small space surrounded by huge sky skyscrapers. Fireworks in NYC have to be shot off over the water so it is either over the river or no fireworks in Times Square and seeing the ball drop - can't have both ! Fireworks or Times Square ball drop!

@@conniecrawford5231 Love New York but It no way compares with London.. Central Park is dry and unattractive compared to all the lush green parks in London. The whole length of The River Thames is beautiful. It is a City with space and an open skyline.

Think there was a deliberate attempt to tell the world that "London is open" and wants to "stay" (with Europe), "We Are Your Friends" and "Don't Leave Me Alone". The music in the last few years have had some political themes, this time, addressing Brexit. The vast majority of London voted for no Brexit. Outside of London was who swung the vote. London actually campaigned to not be apart of Brexit because London didn't want it as it's an open, cosmopolitan, vastly non-discriminating city. But, the whole UK must respect the democratic vote.

This comment is my life, I hate how everyone my gen never watch anything anymore and just look at their screen. Everyone is addicted to attention online for likes. Its as bad as girls who take photos of their food at restraunts and then only eat half their food literally

Right Guys great news for London fireworks 2020 it's going to be the biggest display than any olther Display 100.000 will launch with 12tons 21 songs in the soundtrack I name a couple 1 Calvin Harris Giant 2 Ariana Grande 7rings 3 sunflower spider man 4 Alan walker alone that's enough the whole display will be on for 15 mins longest display we done also new 60 seconds countdown pulse track and there will be Tradition (MIND THE GAP) mid in the display Martin Garrix High on Life will be the second last song in the display then the Grand final song will be Zedd Clarity 👌🎇😎👍 look forward the grand final is biggest project we worked on going to be insane.
