The mayor's office has just released some more detail on the London show, saying it involved "2,000 fireworks, 600 drones, 430 lights and a varied soundtrack of songs and voice-over clips

Big Ben has struck midnight and it's officially 2024 in the UK!
Thousands of fireworks have lit up central London in a spectacular display of just under 15 minutes.
The show also featured drones drawing images in the sky - all set to a backdrop of lasers, lights and music by the likes of the Spice Girls, Beyonce, Louis Armstrong, The Kinks and Dua Lipa.
There were also voice recordings from the King, Dame Helen Mirren, Stephen Fry, Joanna Lumley, and Baroness Floella Benjamin, who read a poem by the late Benjamin Zephaniah.
