We had a literal blizzard here in Norway yesterday. The snow is literally almost to the top of the first floor of our house. Had to get out by jumping from the second floor window into the snow so we could dig out our front door to leave for work!!! And no, this much snow definitely isn’t common in the south of Norway. Still, no power outage and school is still in session and everyone went to work lol 😂 Norwegians be built differently

I thought we were gangster here in the Midwest in dealing with cold weather/snowstorms/blizzard conditions, but my hats off to you. I'll slide down the driveway, walk through thigh deep snow and wrap myself up like an Antarctic mummy but I'm not going out the window. Norway for the win!

@@theknkmommydragonslayer5426 hahaha honestly, this isn’t even typical for us either! It’s pretty extreme for southern Norway even! We always get snow in winter but not THIS much snow. Thankful that the infrastructure is designed to tolerate it with power lines buried and extra insulated pipes, plus lots of snow plows and sidewalk treatments to make it easier. No power outages, no frozen pipes and everything still open and running even during a blizzard lol only thing that had trouble was the buses and it took them a day to plow and salt and get back to business as usual. Pretty ready for spring now though!

Detroit has been in the deep freeze. When it's this cold, I always swear I'll never complain about hot weather again, but that ship has sailed! I'm all about the compaining. No shame in the weather-complaining game! 😂

It was -25 C here in Norway yesterday, and also we got a blizzard which dumped enough snow that it reaches the top of the first floor of our house 😂. But at least it’s not -40 like it has been past 3 weeks!

Haha, I'm still taking down my Christmas stuff too, between the holidays and illnesses and life it's been a lot! I feel like we should get all January to get it cleaned up 😂

During winter i usually try to go declutter and clean and do the things i put off during the nicer months and make a good space. It always feels like a good time to get rid ofnthe old and clean and reorganize. That's what i have been doing but still have been going in the slowest motion taking my christmas decor down 😂was supposed to last weekend but got a spark of energy for closet declutter and when you posted your bedroom video it only seemed fitting to put it off one more week 😂😂 just finish removing all the upstairs items and doign it in steps like you. A ghoul is tired and coldddd 😂 doing the best she can!

Love these casual vlogs they are so relaxing! Ontario is also freezing right now and my motivation is at 0% 😂 but I did get the Xmas decorations put away. Just have to clean now 💀. Happy New Year Jade! Lots of love 💕 💕💕

We are looking at getting a new bed! We definitely will look into Birch. Thank you!! Time has just flown by… my husband and I were in a car accident in the beginning of December… I had to have surgery. Then, we received heartbreaking news that our German Shepherd has late stage lymphoma (it progressed very quickly). We only have another week with her (quality of life) and I have been a mess. So, December and January have been awful for us. I’m glad for the snow, our pup loves it. 💜 Just not the ice and -20’s please. 😅

It’s -20 here and we got 30 inches of snow 😩 I hate winter as an adult! My 8 year old and her friends play outside with their sleds and go down the hill, so at least they are enjoying it.
