Really pleased to see you wear a mask for the dust. It doesn’t bother your lungs when your young but certainly tells as you get older . Another awesome video as always 👍
It’s a great thing when a father can leave his son in charge and know the important things will get done on the farm. Pop is mighty proud of you Eric.
I just started a job at a co-op and I'm excited to learn the things like spraying fertilizer and such
Love your spreader and I always liked the idea of adding lime. You might look into the addition of a little mineral oil to your mix, just enough to knock down the dust, it might be cost prohibitive, but worth checking into. We used to add a little oil to our bean meal just to eliminate the dust.
Great video Eric! You've worked hard to be in a position to mention your friends at Woodchuck. Nice to be able to spread your blessings around to help others. Hope they get many new orders. Looks like a great bedding spreader. House looks amazing. Awesome to see you starting the Spring fieldwork. Thanks for the video!
How many are counting down to the day we start planting corn?

Great to see spring work starting. Thanks for showing progress on your fine new home. It has been great to watch this home building from the very beginning. Happy for you and your family.
If it's not one thing, it's another. Way to roll with the punches. Nicely done. Your house is really taking shape and looks great from across the road.

The best laid plans never survive the running of a farm day to day as something always comes up. Farmers have to take time management to a whole new level. House does look good.
FYI, lots of companies have made those little stall fillers, ours were very similar, not many use those anymore, we make trailer mounted ones now. If you want to save a bunch of time let me know.
80-90 inches of snow here yet in MN, I’m jealous of your nice winters
Those woodchucks are great spreaders! 👍 We use ours for sand and sawdust... only problem I've ran into is in the winter if it's not cleaned out completely that little bit of sand will freeze and the spinners need to be broke free🥶. 20 years is pretty good can't say we got that out of the last one, but we are also in sand haha 😀

Sand is a different animal for sure
Thank u for taking us along.
Retired lab tech for a major beverage company, we treated the city water and use 50# bags of lime. IT WILL CHOKE YOU OUT! yall be safe love the new house 🏠
If 1st generation dairy farmer saw how ‘easy’ farming has become, he might like to come back and give you a hand!
You are going to have a beautiful home right on the farm. Can't beat it . Great place to raise a family. As you well know.
At least that tire is only flat on the bottom. I like the expanding foam door handle the builder added to your front door! That’s a great idea during the construction phase.
Absolutely crazy to me you guys have soft ground and things are greening up for you. We still have 30+inches of snow ontop of 30 inches of frost. I'm thinking at least a month before we see the ground again! Some of the old timers are predicting we wont be in the fields until middle of May at best given their experience.
Your house is looking good for you and your family. From the imperial county California 👍👍🖐️🇺🇲🇺🇲
Checking cover crops and discussing planting corn sounds great. Still 3 feet of snow and added another 2 inches today. Figure 6-8 weeks to get where you are now.
This house looks great! I bet you and the family can't hardly wait to move in!
I thoroughly enjoy your educational videos Eric. They are very well done. Your house is really coming along. Soon to be your family home.
Great choice of transfer pump!
Great explanations on who, what, where when and how!!
Got a cool trick for you when doing hoses. After you heat the hose with the torch spray the inside with wd-40 and it will slide right on!
Having a bad day and just seeing your video has helped.
Appreciate your videos me and my dad finally have something in common to watch.
Heeello! - Thank you for all the free content. You and the whole family is a pleasure to watch!
LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS ERIC
Wow, so green there. Just got more snow here in WI.
Always enjoyable watching your videos Eric learn more everytime
It's always something Eric. But you assess the problem and get it taken care of. Stay safe.
Streamers are nice for putting 27-0-0-4 on. Less chance of burning crop. Use them on grass fields also.
Like the new bedding spreader, does a noticeable difference in the dust output. The house is getting there, every new step must make you and your wife very anxious to see it done. Sorry about the spreader wheel, those things happen. Thanks for sharing Eric, I hope you all have a great week.
really great video Eric. Also, your home is beautiful , be glad when the inside gets done. Thank you young man.
Eric you should invest in a respirator with cartridge filters twenty years from now you’ll be glad you did.Dust mask don’t protect you properly.
Nice to see you in the fields already. Fields in Canada still have snow on them
Besides the dairy cows and the usual manure on our farm, we also had chickens. Because of our set up, the chicken manure was in a very soupy liquid form. Rule # 1 when spreading it on anything was DON"T STOP! Particularly on winter wheat, you could always tell where you overlapped or slowed up or stopped with the spreader running. There was a lot of N in that manure! Missing all that nice warm weather of a week or so ago in Eastern PA...
Definitely looks fast and less dust with the new bedding spreader
Your home is looking great!
I’ll be taking a trip from Tennessee the second week of June to see a Phillies game, Gettysburg, Cooperstown (baseball Hall of fame) and eat at the Shady Maple smorgasbord in East Earl, PA, 😂.

House is looking great. Meanwhile here in Ontario, it’s still very much winter. 8” of snow. Well below freezing. I need spring to Come. Running low on feed, need cover crops
Old iron never dies
Blessings Eric.
Your new home is really coming along. It looks like it is going to be quite nice. Contratulations!!
It is great to see green fields and spring work starting. Snowing pretty good up here in Erie today. The house is looking great, love the stone work on the front porch. Learned a lot about the different values of crops as far as yield and feed value. Thanks for the great video.
Good work on the house. Won't be long now. Like the new spreader. Thanks for the ride.
fantastic! thanks!
Your spring videos always get me excited. There is still a bit of snow here not much for new growth.
The new bedding spreader looks like it's really cool.
thank you
Nice fertilzer rig
It’s interesting to hear the various pros of different forage crops and how and why they might be used
House looks good
The house is looking great, Eric!
Your house is coming along nicely. Looks really good!
So jealous you have spring planting about to start. We still have four feet of snow on the ground and below freezing temperatures.
Great video. Your new home is looking amazing. God Bless.
If you mount your new water pump to t 2x12 or some board it will keep it more stable. That’s what I do. 👍 liking the new house.
Your content is always great and the floors look good..ty
Great to see some field work!
I have read that very fine particle size on wood shavings is actually worse for mastitis probs. I would have thought the opposite. Smaller size more absorbent and better but for udder health not the case. So if you did have an option a coarser bedding might be better and less dusty
Can't believe how fast the sheetrock & mud went up in the house.
Nice 👍🏻 keep up the good work
Nice to see the green dry fields No so in Ireland this week 😂🌧🌧🌧
Prayers for a good planting, growing and harvesting season. God bless and stay safe.
Another awesome video always so informative thanks
Ya lnow i have been wondering about using hydrated lime, and the reason of bacteria kinda made up my mind. So thank you.
Keep the good videos on 🤙🤙love the vids 👌
Another job done. Great! About the flat tire, have you ever tried putting a strap around it and adding air as you wiggle the tire to help it re-seat itself? Might save you a trip if the bead is clean enough.
We have a bulk bin just like that and we got it about 1-2years ago and my dad was building it and cut his finger and had to get stitches, so be careful
always enjoy the content!
Have you ever tried the ether trick on one of those tires. It can be done in a few minutes and might could save a trip to the shop occasionally
Should find an air quality service company out and see what you can do to improve air quality, it would stress cows out plus goes into their water and feed if it's been put out. One easy test is let a coloured smoke bomb and see how bad it really it.Nice short video, almost busy time.
I like your videos keep up the good work.
Another great video!
I’m not a farmer or a dairyman but in my opinion the new spreader is less dusty. The sprayer tire is a little oops . Hope the sidewalls are ok. The house interior looks great.
It says woodchuck but it has a beaver with a scoop shovel.
Very interesting video Thank you
Thanks
Yo love the vids man keep up the good work
Eric your tractor needs a bath 😁😁😁😁😁
love your videos man. so interesting. ; ]
Just a thought: you could add a monitor to those tires that monitor pressure (via battery), just like all the cars and trucks have. Not sure it’s a worthwhile endeavor though.
If you spray W-D-40 on your hose barbs and hose ends they go together like butter….
#pacerpumps best in the land!!!!!
Eric, watching the build is something I greatly enjoy. Will this be your home?
Very interesting video. Lots of info. Just how much did a sprayer load cost? and you used 3 loads. Just curious. Thanks for making the interesting video!!
I guess the water added in keeps the nitrogen from burning the the plants since your using regular spray nozzles instead of 7 hole nozzles or stream bars ? Thanks young man!!
Did you guys not like the sorghum that you planted last year or would you like to plant more but just don’t have the room
Another great video. Do you ever use streamers ? No burn with the right set
great video god bless
Eric, I always enjoy your videos. Noob question: when you spray and kill the cover crop, how do you ensure that those chemicals don’t leach into the main crop and into your herd? Sorry if this is a silly question, not a farmer, just a fan.
your lucky its still white in central pa
Hi Eric.
the hose your milk hauler uses to pump milk would last for a very long time... I save my old hoses I use to pump milk for things like that
Great video, Eric. Are you guys living with her parents or your parents while the new house is being built? Won’t be long!!!
I am Arabic in Jordan thank you good evening I love you
2 👍👍 up bro stay safe 🤞🥾🇺🇸
You can mix your bedding with lime and water you could mix it in the feeder and mix as much as you want/ need i asume the dust will be way less because off the water you mixed it with
I'm no farmer but if the overlapping manure strip is greener would it be worth it to spray manure twice?
