Drea, I think writing a plant book is a great idea. I think you'd write an amazing book. I'd buy it ! If you really want to write a book, I encourage you to spend a little bit of time on it here and there and eventually you'll have a book. I hope you decide to write the book as you are very knowledgeable about plants.❤

Had a repeating issue of quarantining and lack of open spots for the plants under observation or in pest lockdown. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this earlier, but I just put the plants under a grow light for the duration. Then I can put them anywhere I have space as opposed to somewhere where I have a window with space (which in my house, doesn’t exist!). The light is less than ideal but is fine and it takes care of the more important issue if protecting my collection.

if you have a room with controlled environment , lowing the temp as much as the plants can take, slows pest. a lot.

the plant are beautiful . but next to you, they take second place ,

I recall you saying you favored small leaf plants and now I see your loving anthuriums..other end of the spectrum as this type of plant has much bigger leaves and are more prone to pest pressures..good luck,your very informative 😊

I said I prefer smaller leaf Hoyas when it comes to Hoyas. I don’t feel that way about all plants.💚

We bought a seedling anthurium last year. It has grown a lot in the sphagnum moss. At what point should we transition it to soil, or do we just leave it in moss? We have it under a clouse. It’s about 4” tall with several leaves. Also are you doing any pop ups this Spring/Summer?

Ive watched several of your videos & I appreciate your knowledge, but I have to ask if you have peripheral neuropathy or a thyroid issue that causes your hands to shake like a leaf. Im sure you’ve addressed this before, but I haven’t seen all your videos.
