@@The2012Aero Yeah.. grass and electric types need better moveset. We got so much water types recently and there tons water types meta. When compare their counters there not much choices and thanks wing attack buff there even less grass types.

Night slash has a 12.5% chance of getting the boost. Getting it three times in a row like in the first game is a 0.195% chance so it will only happen once every 500 games roughly.

Never happened to me in 6000 battles

Knowing everyone would be jumping into GBL with Greninja after Community Day, I switched up one of my main UL teams from Dragalge, Ferrothorn, Talonflame to Dragalge, Ferrothorn, Tapu Fini - pretty much soft/hard/hard counters to Greninja. Knowing how strong it is, it has been fun watching the Greninja-based teams struggle.

Holy crap, Water Shuriken is literally just a faster, stronger version of Rollout that gives more energy. Me who totally didn't spend two months raising my Miltank who's CP cap is 2500 🗿

So, a 2 turn fast move that takes 5 to get to a move, it'll get out passed by a 3 turn that's 3 to a move, and you can sneak one after if they throw immediately, I learnt this by running sceptile with leaf blade earthquake, and bullet seed leaf blade out passes scrafty to pp

Ugh, i catched a r1 UL non shiny Greninka 1/15/15 but I'm tempted to use a rank 194 just because it's my highest rank shiny lol

I'm still trying to figure out what makes for good I.V.'s in battle leagues. Out of all choices, I get that Greninja at 1/13/8 has strong defense, but overall, that I. V. Set just seems so weak. Why would that be a better choice than say a 1/15/14 or 1/13/15 or 7/13/15(?)

Most people use Excadrill so you will be able to take one hit and outpace many of them. The only problems you'll face is Dragons and Gyarados so any coverage against those and you'll will do fine. You also win against Metagross as well with NSlahs spam.

It's all about mind games. If you do not reveal the fact that you have Leaf Blade then it will really trick opponents big time. I also used Virizion against a Charizard before and after 5 Fast Move then Sacred Sword bait, it gets the shield and if you are very low HP as well then go into a CMP tie and if you shield as well then they will mostly assume you have Stone Edge if you bank your energy (but actually do not) so you can end up trading a shield for a shield on a move you do not own because it is all mind games. Sometimes worth it if you can take shields off a hard hitting pokemon to ease up the match.

None of the ones i evolved today got that move

So a pokemon that beats the most annoying and dumb pokemons like Swampert Charizard Giratina Cresselia spammers without even trying at all, definitely a pokemon you have to try out. Doesnt matter if Cresselia knows Grass Knot because Greninja will be able to trade 2 Night Slash for 1 Grass Knot everytime and the odds of getting a boost vs a pokemon that does not hard wall you is very high because if your throwing 6 Night Slashes the chances of getting a boost is quite likely each game and even lucky if you get it twice in a row. Its also performs so nice against Dark/Poison pokemons like Drapion and Muk and just stops all Jellicent as well. Not the tankiest mon out there but it will get the job done for trading shields and switch advantage. Insane pokemon to have and really breaks fhe Ultra League comps as Antimeta, just keep it away from Cobalion and Virizion especially and Poliwrath and you will be fine.
