Skeledirge with energy is so good even in Ultra... one of the most underrated picks in GBL, completely breaks the meta and even has a decent bulk

The fact that it did get a incinerate buff which was what really made it powerful as well. While not having access to a fire charge move it already makes up for it by having two good offensive coverage for Fairy/Ghost. Aside from that its actually quite a good pokemon especially since it's from ScarletViolet as well. Very much loving how decent Skeledirge is and if you ever have energy lead on Skeledirge it will do very good into anything.

@@jonathannew2826 yes I am well aware it has flamethrower. You dont really need it because ghost/fairy already had a good coverage already. Flamethrower can work yes but when you get put up against a dragon then that Disarming Voice would be more preferred. Same as why people don't run ThunderPunch on Ampharos.

Im excited to see how Skeledirge does with blast burn / shadow ball Disarming voice is alright but i often wish i had blast burn, and stab shadow ball is priceless

What’s the reason? For tournaments or PVP? Currently counter picks up more matchups than bubble, unless you are referring to specialty cups where it could depend

I wish I could say I was surprised but I had a skele team last season that I gained 600 elo with. Granted it was the first season I really got into GBL but this was even before the incinerate buff. Such a spammy mon with great coverage and fast move pressure.

I'm finding it fascinating how the changes in GBL have made the matches feel more like the mainline games. Constantly fishing and using moves for debuffs, making reads and predictions, it's so weird. Hell, it's 10x more fun than watching Licky vs Licky and 100,000,000 Medichams

I wanted to wait until Fuecoco's Community Day to evolve a more ideal GBL Skeledirge, but having built one for Great League this season, it has thoroughly impressed me due to its coverage and fast move pressure. This thing is so good at clutching wins in matches it has no business winning, it practically doesn't even _need_ a Comm Day exclusive charge move.

These matches alsp go to show just how strong Whiscash + Skeledirge is Either of them work well in the lead and either of them work well as the safe swap.

I've always been a fan, its crazy how much better skeledirge is than the other two stupid shitty starters

I just hope the Pokemon Company doesn't come after you given that technically they retain rights to these tournament footage, they have been shown to be quite petty in the past.

The real question is whether or not dune brought the right dirge

Idk where you all or the pros have been but skel has been OP and is due for a serious nerf. Calling this a one off based on an OP mon that nobody else was smart enough to bring to the party apparently. Not impressive at all.
