Das Getriebe war nicht kaputt ;) Das war eine Umrüstaktion von Daimler um das Fahrzeug kundentauglich zu machen.

do you have any updates about the general reliability of this engine anything to be mindfull of ? i was thinking of buying a new clio with that engine and i cant find any reports whatsoever about it.

Dimos ive been driving my M282 A200 since 2018 done multiple track days without and mods and it it very reliable and surprisingly doesn't heat up quickly with intense use, never had any issue with it or anything with the car itself.

Is this Renault engine good ?

Der Wagen hat ein neues Getriebe bekommen, um Kundenfähig zu werden. Die allerersten Autos die das Band verlassen und als Ausstellungsfahrzeug verwended werden, sind manchal noch nicht Kundenfähig.

The gearbox was not damaged. But to convert the car into a costumer ready condition, it received a new gearbox.

The gearbox was fine, but the car was upgraded from a pre-production series to a current series-production status.

You mustn't take out the all front of the car. You can put down only gear box And it's take only less than 5 hours. Believe me , what better ? : work 5 hours and go for beer or 2 days and go to sleep because You are tired .
