Something to note: but considering the New Builder Base splits defense between two bases, the troops had to be taken down a notch to compensate for the lower defensive potential. Then there's also the reinforcement camps

I like how the whole point was to reduce spam. Yet they enabled Pekka spam like crazy, and made all other troops incredibly difficult to use lol Not to say its impossible, they're there for a reason. But its quite hard in higher level BHs

i miss the cannon cart last stand

I absolutely hate bb 2.0. From the removal of pvp, to the troop reduction, to the INSANE increase in upgrade costs and payout cuts, it's just makes playing an even bigger chore than It already was.

agree with you - devs ruined Builder base compleatly after 2.0

Sneaky archers are far from useless, you can use a cannon cart to take out outside buildings then use archers to take out archer tower that usually guards against cannon carts. Then that enables your cannon cart to get some great value

Indeed, it is one of the strategy that the high trophies use, the only thing that is bad about it is time issue.

I liked the update a lot, i was spamming so much way before now i'm enjoying with strategy the only thing that is hard is the time

Dang, old but gold? XD I'm enjoying the new Builder Base 2, but they need to re-balance troops ASAP, almost everyone spamming the same troops which was the #1 thing they wanted to counter. (Since everyone spammed carts before)

I prefer quantity instead of Quality now it feels like my Cart Giant and Bomber strat will not work

The number of defences is now half as there are two bases now and troops are likly 2.5 times stronger even tho they are 1/4 the size to 1/3 of old ones so that equalizes it

I like that you now have to think before placiong troops. It was just spam before this update

i miss builders base 1.0 ):(

Even tho old might be a little stronger still builder base 2.0 is still more fun

Yeah, technically speaking no troop is useless, they have the same potential to take down a base, but there are some other better options if you think about it, Anything the barbarians and archers can do the Cannon Cart does better, and even though 4 archers or 4 barbarians together has more dps than one cannon cart, it takes only 1 mine or any defense which has an area damage to defeat or damage badly the troops. Same goes for the minions, even if it has a higher dps, it will die easily compared to the Baby Dragon. And although the Giant has a little more health and a shield, the P.E.K.K.A can out weigh the cons of not having a shield with their huge amount of dps. But even if some troops are better than others, every troop can be a great threat if used correctly, it is only up for you to choose how you are gonna play.

There had to be compensations. New hero, new levels, half the defenses just on 2 parts. I like thr bb2 much better since it now needs more strategy and not just spamming.

troops got nerf because we have 6 camps to destroy half base and will get extra 2 in second half earlier we need to take full base with 6 camp itself

I had abandoned builder base. BB 2.0 is the most fun I've had in Clash of Clans in a lot of time. I'm even reaching top players. It's so much fun.

nope i only maxed my hog gliders and full unit of those can wipe out entire max BH9 if crushers were not deep inside

Am i the only one that thinks that Cannon Carts are worse now? I mean not only did they have the last stand ability that gave them a last chance to deal damage but they were like 2 or 3 cannon carts per slot. I mean the new ones are much weaker but their ability to change into a mortar is quite good when used efficiently. But old cannon carts will remain in my heart.
